In the carol "Adam lay ybounden", there's a line that goes: As clerkes finden, written in their book Is "finden" the infinitive form of "find"? I thought it should be "found" or maybe "would finden". Also, why not "ywritten"? It seems the "y-" prefix appears exactly once in the title.
