See @Mitch about judging people's character? Just like real life a leopard can't change its spots :-)

If you look at a black panther in the right light, you can see that they actually have an underlying pattern that is just like a leopard.

Right!

Or a jaguar. I'm usually running too fast to notice.

Are you an antelope?

So the life lesson to be learned from this is that a leopard can't change his spots. and a panther can't either, he's just covered them up. But you can't tell he has spots so it he might as well not have any. Oh...and don't run. They hate that, it just makes them angrier when they bite your face off.

9:06 PM
why would a leopard want to change his spots?

@Cerberus Nope. There's a new challenge out...pluck a hair from the tail of a panther or pay $200 to research for preventing cat maulings.
@GeorgePompidou To be different? All the other leopards are still wearing that tacky leopard-print. Rawr. so jr high.

oh.
then this whole metaphor isn't what I thought it was.

that picture sucks.

Great picture, thanks :D

overwhelmingly positive reaction.
I'm going to change mine as a result.

that picture contains things that get sucked

@tchrist if some stranger called me a "dummy" in a public place he would be lucky if he had all his teeth left after I finished with him.

@skullpatrol Violets are the last resort of the incontinent.
But giving people what they want from me is seldom my first choice.

Raider nation is a violent nation.

Ne plus ultra.

On the internet the "ignore" option is unique
But the attitudes these kids take out into the real world will bite them in the ass.

It’s invisible.
Like the ne-plus-ultra-violet.
@skullpatrol No, you can always unplug.

Ignore is a selective "unplug" :-)

9:24 PM
Mork and mindie?

A nonselective unplug.

I'll always remember him for that series.

I know every one of these scenes, having stood exactly there.

Enough said.

@Mitch OK I'll maul a panther and pull out a hair.

9:32 PM
The (white?) cops have and killed another black youth in Missouri. Can you say powerkeg?
I think I want to unplug.
Then I won’t have to know.

Trayvon's mom wrote a letter to Trayvon 2.0's family.

^the classic "unplug"

Do not let evil enter your senses.
And you will speak no evil.

It rhymes in the elvish

"Unplugging" is a very important survival mechanism.

Seems to have worked for Mork.
And Gilrain.

And Bob Dylan.
Wait, he plugged in.

Under a harvest moon :-)
I wish we had that bot back.

> "Op basis van de statistieken van 2010 wordt een huishouden eens in de 950 dagen (2 jaar en 7 maanden) door een stroomstoring getroffen, dit is een iets hogere kans op uitval dan het vijfjaargemiddelde van eens in de 1025 dagen (2 jaar en 10 maanden)."
"Based on a 5-year average, a household will suffer from a power outage once every 2 years and 10 months, on average."
@tchrist Look, we have even fewer power outages than I thought.
"The most important cause of power outages is digging, at 30%. The weather is another important cause." The article mentions only frost as a cause, so apparently some power lines can get damaged by frost?

@hichris123 Also the golden rule of the main site :-)

@snailboat That too. :)

I love Venn diagrams. They make everything so easy to understand.
