Q: How to set a possible date / time

evnSay a friend wants to schedule a time to hang out, but I'm not sure when I'll be available, so we set a place-holder time that may be when we hang out or may not. What is this called? I feel like there's a word starting with 't' that works, but 'temporary time' doesn't sound right. Eg "I'm not s...

@ArtificialStupidity It's called standing with one's arms folded. There's not a graceful way to turn that into an adjective, but you could probably get away with calling it an arms-folded pose.

2:45 PM
@ArtificialStupidity Robusto's got it. At least in American English, if you want someone to do that you tell them to fold their arms.

@Rob I have a vague idea, but why wouldn't I want to wake up in Luxembourg?
Howdy @MetaEd

@Robusto Thank. Can I add "hip-twisted", so it becomes "arm-folded and hip-twisted pose"?

@cornbreadninja麵包忍者 Maybe because you're worried about someone's bodily odour? Trust me, that could be it.
@ArtificialStupidity You can do whatever you like, of course, but that doesn't raise any red flags with me.

8:50 PM
@Robusto But what was so bad about Luxembourg in 1981?

hi
please can someone
give the synonm of
"In light of Remark"
here is the context : In light of Remark 1.18, it is peculiar that the modulus,
which is only de ned in-terms of the order structure, also satis es
the triangle inequality.

@Educ It's figurative (imaginative). Literally speaking, Remark 1.18 sheds some light on the problem. And with that light shining on it, this other thing seems peculiar.
It's similar to how we look at something from a different angle, or as if I were in someone else's shoes.

Thank you so much

@cornbreadninja麵包忍者 I think it's about the company EC was with, not the place.

9:54 PM
This alludes to synonm please
