BTW, "He's a little bit angry" is probably stronger than "He's a little angry" or "He's a bit angry."

Depends on how you say it.

I said "probably" . . . and that means I think people normally would use more words for emphasis.

Most of the time "a little bit angry" would mean more emphasis.

YMMV.

All else being equal, I think more words usually equates to more emphasis. For a word like "little" it would be about understatement.

Nash's death must have been a shocker for him.

@Robusto 22 or 23 daily, (all in once during week-end, 9 morning+13 evening during the week)

How somebody so smart could die because he didn't put on his seat belt in a taxi is unbelievable.

I advised jasper to not continue to repeatedly watch A Beautiful Mind, but I'm sure he didn't follow my advice :(

I admit I don't wear my seat belt either BUT that's only when I AM driving.

As a passenger I will always wear them

Here in Pakistan we don't even have seatbelts in many cars especially old ones, like mine, an old Volkswagen. So the reason is traffic is always crawling here :)

No one gets enough space to go above average except on highways outside city.

We have rickshaws, donkey carts, cycles and cars all on the same road. Ugh!

But that is also seasonal. When the government pressurizes police to enforce the rules they check, but then after a while everyone forgets and things go back to normal (crazy)
