Q: Flood of Similar New User(s)

Steven LandsburgThe following thirteen(!) users: goingfullscheme valua_aint_no_galois going-full-isomorphic logicians_rule, martintzar royalroadtogeometry bundlist compactbut faptoint you_dont_mess_with_ron ron_is_striking_back Emmy_to_Noether commutative_drinker (and, I believe, a couple more besides) have ...

Q: Unregistered Users (in Theory and in Practice)

Steven LandsburgThere's been past discussion (e.g. here) about whether MathOverflow should allow posts from unregistered users. I am fully on board with the apparent consensus that the answer is yes, because of the potential for a registration requirement to deter valuable contributors. At the same time, we ...

Q: Bounty from Community

Steven LandsburgThis question has an outstanding bounty from the Community user. How does that happen?

And also some of the posts on meta that are now deleted might be related.

Q: How exactly does the 40 minute limit work?

mikaOn the main site, people whose reputation is below 125 (or some other figure but still well above 1) can not post more frequently than once per 40 minutes. It should be noted that that is 40 minutes as registered by MO servers (I do not know exactly where are the servers located but that is some...

Q: How do we know we are not a giant voting ring?

mikaOccasionally, on Q&A sites (which MO is too) a single person under multiple accounts or a group of people will create a voting ring: they will upvote each other's posts without judging the quality of posts. If there is no built-in defense systems, they will gradually rise in power and if successf...

Q: Why was the question about preventing voting fraud deleted?

mikaWhy was this question of mine deleted so quickly? I think it could really improve the resilience of MO against voting frauds. My first question on meta MO was a bad question as I understand now, but what was wrong with this particular question? The question should be judged solely and exclusively...

Q: An account deleted, no reason given

mikaI have given an answer on the main site. Almost immediately after that my account was deleted. Granted, my answer only addressed one half of the question but did my account really deserve being deleted? I am pretty sure there were some worse answers on MO if you search hard enough.

Q: Are the questions of deleted users having no accepted answers to be deleted?

Cut the woodHere Yemon Choi said that a question should be closed because the user who asked it was deleted. 4 people have upvoted his comment too. Did this rule applied during the entire history of MO? Is there a community consensus that such rule should be applied from now on? This is actually quite surp...

Q: Why do we close non-duplicates as "exact duplicates"?

phdWhy were these two questions marked as "exact duplicates" of this question? There are some salient distinctions between them.

If somebody might consider this useful in connection with the recent discussion, I'll mention that there is the chatroom Listing bounties and HNQs.

 Listing bounties and HNQs

Feed with past bounties and hot network questions
Of course, the bounties can also be seen in the bounty tab. The chatroom has slight advantage that it is easy to see them in the chronological order and it also shows bounty questions after they've expired or been awarded. (Although the HNQs are also mixed in there.)
