@Catija Some time ago, one of the current moderators raised the issue that the current moderators are also on the board of MathOverflow Inc. And it seems unclear whether newly elected moderators would be expected to become a part of the board or not.
I do not know how much an issue is it. (But it seems that Ben Webster considered it important enough to mention it in his answer.)
