Q: Are We Making it Too Tempting/Easy to Send Inappropriate Posts to MSE?

Steven LandsburgThis "question" (asking for generalized help with a long list of elementary topics) is clearly going to be unwelcome almost anywhere, yet two users voted to close with a suggestion to "see math.stackexchange to ask general questions in mathematics". I feel like I see equally good examples of t...

What about adding more sites in the option "This question belongs on another site in the Stack Exchange network", e.g. scicomp, cstheory, academia? — Bullet51 3 hours ago
I think that the suggestion about migration paths is for separate discussion (it's not exactly related to the point of this post). And there were several related posts on meta, you can easily find a few if you go through the tag on meta.
In particular, I will mention an answer by a community manager:

A: What outgoing migration paths should we have?

Adam LearDisclaimer: Hi! I'm one of the community managers at Stack Exchange. I'm sure you've seen some of us and a few developers around over the last couple of days, sorting out last-minute issues and problems arising from the site upgrade to SE 2.0. Welcome! We're happy to have y'all here. Far as mi...

A: Adding "Academia.StackExchange" to the migration list

In essence, a site would need to show a history of successful migrations before a new default can be added. (Yes, this is a bit of a Catch-22 since you'll n...

I vaguely recall a comment with more recent stats, but I cannot find it quickly. In any case, users with sufficient reputation can see various stats about migration here: mathoverflow.net/tools/posts/migrated/stats
@Bullet51 The suggestion to add more outgoing migration paths seems to be orthogonal to what is discussed here. Moreover, there already have been several posts on meta about this. So that I do not digress too much from the topic at hand, I have listed a few such posts in the MathOverflow chatroom, — Martin Sleziak 4 mins ago

Our EE.SE folks are suggesting to migrate this question to a math stack. Is there a math stack where it would be on-topic?

Q: What's a better way to integrate an ODE for one time-step than the Euler method?

BillI'm simulating a simple cart-pendulum system for purposes of testing different control strategies and data-driven approaches. I need to simulate the dynamical system one time-step at a time. I'm trying to make the simulation as realistic as possible (non-linear, with disturbances and noise etc....
