A: I have a question which is a near fit for MathOverflow. What are some other resources I might consult?

Martin SleziakVarious math-related databases For example, databases of various mathematical objects: OEIS - On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences π-Base - a database located here: https://topology.pi-base.org/ and https://topology.jdabbs.com/. It could be described as (expanded) online version of Countere...

I have posted this as a separate answer - but if it is better to include this as a part of another answer, I would not object.
TBH, I am a bit surprised that I did not find Q/A on MathOverflow or Mathematics with a list of such databases.
> 0. Meta-resources: Lists compiled elsewhere on the internet which themselves compile lists of resources of the above types.
@TimCampion Should we add also a separate answer for "Meta-resources" (lists, collections)?
There are some posts on MO concerning discussing papers - and I remember a site with some notes/annotations for books. Would they fit in some of the existing answers? Or as a new answer? I mean posts such as: Are there any good websites for hosting discussions of mathematical papers? or Errata database?.
And, of course, there are various wikis - such as [Groupprops, The Group Properties Wiki ](groupprops.subwiki.org/wiki/Main_Page) or Topospaces (The Topology Wiki). (There might be others - I remembered these two.) Would they fit in some of the answer to this post? Should they be included among references?
Maybe simply linking to subwiki and listing at least some of those sites at the same time?

Again a post on meta.

I have posted this old feature request long time ago: Change reputation required to post on meta back to 5 reputation points. Although when I talked with Shog9, he saw that as not really necessary.

Yeah; it's a trivial change, but unless y'all are getting a fair bit of noise there's probably no good reason to mess with it
I can see some advantages - for example, people from zbMATH would be able to reach out to MO even if they didn't have any reputation here. At the same, getting spam on meta is an unwanted consequence.
Of course, one can see spam in answers as a positive consequence - it bumped a question to the top of the page (when sorted by recent activity), so perhaps that question will get a bit more attention.
In fact, I have mentioned something like this in this answer - although I thought mainly about the main site: Auto-bumping of unanswered questions.

Tim CampionWhat are some other resources which might be useful for somebody considering asking a MathOverflow question, especially if their question is not quite a perfect fit here? In asking this, I have several categories of resources in mind, including but not limited to: Both online and offline resourc...

In general, on might find some other things which could be added to some of the answers by looking at the questions tagged online-resources+big-list. And maybe the same two tags on Mathematics.

I a not so familiar with the policies on this site. It seems to me that the answer to mathoverflow.net/q/422531/116247 is in mathoverflow.net/a/78589/116247. Is that good enough to close the question as a duplicate?
