I've been pondering the implications of APE/cosmo myself. I wonder just how painful it would be to supply some kind of lowest-common-denominator graphics API

I imagine considerably harder than wrapping stdio and a few chunks of libc

the concept is what I would want, paired with cosmopolitan. doesn't look like that project is anywhere close to complete, and more importantly it doesn't look like significant progress has occurred in quite a while

might contain some useful ideas

but I imagine that SDL or its peers, which are more complete, contain a more complete picture
