@X-27 I actually have a bookmark in my browser that opens a tab that is nearly black, I use it to fill the other monitor when I watch Netflix on my computer (otherwise I get distracted).

... couldn't you call watching Netflix a distraction?

Ran a few queries on SEDE to see voting patterns of bse users.

There are some stand outs at both ends.

You would think if you have been a regular user for close to 4 years, are in the top 5% would have the voting gold medal.. not always the case.

So is it newwer users dishing out a lot of votes, hoping to rise in the rankings?

I vote plenty around the winter bash, but not much else :/

Is there a correlation between hats and voting?

For a lot of them :)

btw for me the "winter" bash is in summer.
