12:01 AM
Just discovered what Ctrl + Click does in edit mode. Lol.

12:19 AM
@RadishoftheOpera Made some progress
Work on it again tomorrow, BTW, that water is sweet!

@meed96 lol

(Not Responding)
wait that is an excellent joke!
Best response ever

12:43 AM
@NoviceInDisguise 10 guesses as to which program is not responding

Blender, your IDE, Adobe Photoshop . . .

@NoviceInDisguise Guess #1 of course
Adobe photoshop brings down my hole computer when it goes
my IDE never goes
from bge import logic, types, events
from mathutils import Vector
import socket
import json

class Settings:
    SERVER_IP = "127.0.0.1" #"162.243.150.43"
    SERVER_PORT = 274
    SELF_PORT = 9898

class Socket():
    def __init__(self,host="", port=Settings.SELF_PORT):
        print("text")
        self.socket = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET,socket.SOCK_STREAM)
        self.socket.connect((Settings.SERVER_IP, Settings.SERVER_PORT))
    def recive(self,type,callback):
        print("ears opened")
Anyone know why func_cb is getting called twice???

@GiantCowFilms Same here
@GiantCowFilms Nope :/

That is odd
...
four different varitions of the same message

2 hours later…
2:53 AM
@GiantCowFilms when is while True: supposed to end ?

@Chebhou Haven't done that yet, but it really ends when you stop playing

@GiantCowFilms I mean in your code it just keeps looping , no end

@Chebhou Exactly
I haven't done the end bit

so i guess it's normal that func_cb is called more then once

@Chebhou Well the issue is I'm receiving more messages then I should be
I've figured so far that it seems to receive an echo of its own messages.. no idea why

3:20 AM
@GiantCowFilms what's the other side script

2 hours later…
5:36 AM
I don't know what everyone else is thinking here..

Q: How to extrude properly?

saclement99How do I extrude so that the circle moves inwards like at 13:04 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU_pi1UxISs? When I do it the vertices just move up.

The tutorial I watched clearly shows him selecting the vertices...?

6:25 AM
I feel like we should have a little warning pop up when someone types "blender" in the title of their question..
"This title may not be very descriptive of your specific question. Please try to create a title which describes what your question is, not just what it's about"
Or something like that

8 hours later…
2:55 PM
@Chebhou Its node.js, and it behaves as it should

@gandalf3 like I said, we can't close down a seahawks fan.

@gandalf3 Sounds good

@gandalf3 here is my next question "Blender problem - please HELP".

@RadishoftheOpera no kidding...
@David My newest question is "How to fix annoying problem and publish my game with cool upgrades?" - that is the title. the body reads " hello, I'm new to Blender. the title pretty much says it all, thanks "

3:11 PM
@X-27 XD

@X-27 LOL. with the tags "blender-internal" and "interface"

@David Yah!
and editing

4 hours later…
7:15 PM
Dingto and Campbell on their podcast, when it's just them

7:42 PM
@GiantCowFilms do you think you should maybe follow the tut? he gets it all done in 55 mins.
also he uses remoteKeyboard
cool picture
my phone smell like ham... :(
joining!

1 hour later…
9:01 PM
@NoviceInDisguise how did you do the feathers on your chickadee in the ice picture?

9:18 PM
@David And so your question is clearly about a problem in blender, so therefor it's descriptive! right? ..right? It's not like this site only has questions about blender or anything..
:P

9:46 PM
what should I call my game entry?

10:31 PM
@RadishoftheOpera I'm using tcp, he uses udp
makes it a little tricky

@GiantCowFilms sooo, no remote keys?

hang on
not today
the heat is killing me
@RadishoftheOpera No, I can do that

I'll try watching it today... just to see
@RadishoftheOpera He is also using blender as a server
which can complicate things greatly
since my server can't run blender, so I client will have to hold the master copy, and use the server only for pairing connections
anyway, I'll be back later
