I fear I wrote too much. What if you focus on the answer BEFORE "Meanwhile, "? The rest is a code review unrelated to the bind placeholder. You are confusing the handler interface (void(error_code)) with the implementation you bind to it (which can have any number of arguments). The placeholder number refers to the bound interface so, _1 is actually correct. Note that you bind this and connection into the other parameters, so only the one placeholder remains. — sehe 41 secs ago

@sehe Thank you for the thorough explanation and the code review. After I read your lastest comment, I suddenly understand it. I think there are two ways to understand it. 1. As you mentioned that this and connection have binded already, the sequece for the placeholder should be increased one by one, say _1, _2, _3, since there is only one argument has not been binded, so _1 is the right choice. Too long, please see the next comment.John 28 secs ago

This seems more like a code review question. See this site. — Tom Karzes 16 secs ago

@Peilonrayz Hey, nobody actually said that yet, just thought I will add a disclaimer anyway since there are a lot of robots disguised as humans in current times :)

Q: JSON data format for MCQ data bank

Prahlad YeriI'm creating a data bank of MCQ (Multi Choice Questions) and their answers so that an app can be built around it. Regarding the actual storage format, I have two ideas: An array of objects with keys (q for question, a for choice-a, etc.). An array of arrays. The first one is obviously more read...

@CraigEstey that requires playing with the build/make file to create a custom build step. It's fun but requires doing it in a different language than C++. The final solution will hopefully be available in 2026, if Vandervoodr makes his reflection into the standard. In the meantime we have all the adhoc solutions. This kind of dark magic is normally rejected in code reviews. The common consensus is that if AST can handle it, then we need a way to reflect it. — Red.Wave 1 min ago
