But technically this is fine :) If there is some logic behind, this assignment should come up during code review :) — metal_man 23 secs ago

Not sure whether this question is a really good fit for this place (isnt it more code review, SE practices) ... but your answer is great, for sure! — GhostCat 14 secs ago
@МихаилНафталь the code is not always read in an IDE, especially during code reviews. But in any case this is not a big deal of course, I never had to read code with shadowing personally — Joffrey 59 secs ago

Q: Implementation for Simple Disjoint Set

Jae BradleySimple Disjoint Set Implementation I had not implemented a DisjointSet before and the following is my attempt at implementing a very simple DisjointSet for learning purposes. When union-ing sets, the goal was to implement union-by-size. Approach For simplicity, I implement a disjoint set that onl...

SO has dedicated Sub-Sites for code review. Yet, banging strings together as XML is a bad idea, because depending in the values you are using, there is a good chance, that you are creating invalid XML. Check out Creating XML with Groovycfrick 9 secs ago

Code Review is a better fit for questions about reviewing working code in most cases. Anyway, one thing you can improve is to have only two event handlers (e.g., TextBoxes_Enter and TextBoxes_Leave) and have then handle the events for both/all TextBoxes. You can achieve that using the Handles clause (e.g., Handles TextBox1.Enter, TextBox2.Enter,...) or using AddHandler. Then, inside the event handlers, you can cast sender to a TextBox to access the specific TextBox that triggered the event (e.g., Dim txtBox = DirectCast(sender, TextBox)) — 41686d6564 21 secs ago
