Welcome Tiago! If you'd like a general review, this question might be more suited to the codereview stackexchange. If you want help with the problem you mention in the comment, it might be more appropriate to edit your question and trim down the problem to the part you're having trouble with — loopbackbee 8 secs ago

@KonradRudolph, I respectfully disagree - the code works and the main question is I wonder if it's OK to write a code like that - i.e. style. The next rather obscure and unclear remark The code works for some cases, but I wonder if my code contains any errors doesn't make it about correctness. If this was the case ANY question from code review will fit here - just add something within the lines - I wonder if my code contains errors. — buran 44 secs ago
What is the actual question? As far as I can tell the code matches your description of what you intend to do. Does it not work? I would also suggest using better naming, Snacks should perhaps be better named SnackType? As for better ways, it's not how I would have written it, but if it works it works. Use codereview.stackexchange.com if you are looking for a code review. — JonasH 50 secs ago

Stack Overflow is not appropriate for questions about optimising working code. It is too open-ended, and there is not one definitive answer. We have Code Review for this. Answers there can offer any input, including cosmetic improvements. It's not limited to performance, so bear than in mind before posting. — Michael 47 secs ago

Code review's What topics can I ask about here says "It's OK to ask for help to optimize code to run in a resource-constrained environment. However, asking about code-golfing, obfuscation, or similar is off-topic." It sounds like your question is probably fine there. — azurefrog 57 secs ago
