Q: Reducing allocations in arbitrary precision calculations with Julia

TimoI am new to Julia and have only written in python before which is most likely also reflected by my coding style. Unfortunately, my applications require very high numerical precision which is why I am resorting to BigFloat and BigInt in Julia. For some reason, this leads to a major increase in all...

@SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ Looks like chocolate chip to me, or maybe oatmeal raisin

It's abstract enough to look like a lot of things.

@Mast Is win+ctrl+-> goes to remote and win+shift+-> goes to local ok? If so you could probably get AHK to listen to win+shift+-> and then call a script that uses the WinAPI. Looks like VirtualDesktop uses the WinAPI rather than sending keys but I'm not sure

5:32 PM
@Peilonrayz I never use win+shift+<>, so taking those out of business and replacing them with something useful would work.

It sounds like you would like your "unclean, unclear and unreadable" code reviewed. This is not the place for that sort of thing, but maybe codereview.stackexchange.com is. — martineau 18 secs ago

Q: Compliant JSON4 Parser in Typescript

Q: Re-throw Exception, after completion of method

タコスI have a worker class that catches uncaught exceptions and logs them for tracking purposes. However, I do NOT want to swallow those exceptions, nor do I want to abstract them (i.e. losing the stack trace). I believe the best practice in the industry is to throw a new exception and set the inner e...

@Peilonrayz Looks promising, but I've ran out of time to try it today. I'll be sure to check back on the weekend.

@Mast No problem ^^ I'm just hoping the software isn't calling the send-key WinAPI in the background like every other solution I found (which were more like scripts then applications)

Q: A tiny threads pool in C

weiShenMy purpose is to isolate the threads management from the service logic. It uses producer-consumer pattern using semaphore to limit the maximum number of threads. recycle_threads() itself is a thread, which automatically waits for previous threads to exit and increments the semaphore. Users can ca...

@itprorh66 when suggesting users post on CR it would be great if there was also a suggestion like "Please read the relevant help center pages like 'What topics can I ask about here?' and 'How do I ask a good question?". @StephenBoesch You could always do the for <target list> in [<some expression>] trick, but it's the sort of thing that should never pass a decent code review, both options I've pointed above I would not accept if they were in a PR I was reviewing, for example. — juanpa.arrivillaga 27 secs ago
