Q: Scientific Calculator, first attempt at a 100+ line code in C

ThePowerHex_YTI finished this code a few minutes ago. It started off as an explanation of a basic calculator in C to a friend. Then we decided to take it further and I made this. Please tell me where I can make changes, no matter how small, you think needs to be changed/made better. Also I'm new to the C langu...

That question was closed because it “needs more focus”. Unfortunately, the same is true here. It looks like someone has volunteered to do a code review on a GitHub repo, and you should take them up on that offer. It looks like you might benefit from far broader advice, probably not well suited for a single StackOverflow question. — Rob 37 secs ago

By the way, when you get this working, you can post a more exhaustive set of code on codereview.stackexchange.com. Unlike this forum which focuses on MRE, in Code Review, they accept/encourage more exhaustive samples, unlike the MRE’s expected in this forum. — Rob 11 secs ago

Welcome to Stack Overflow. "My question here is about the current level of my code and the areas for improvement to become an advanced programmer. What are your thoughts?" - from the perspective of Stack Overflow, this is not a question. We do not offer "thoughts"; we don't do code review (try Code Review); and we especially don't subjectively evaluate your effort, as this is not a discussion forum. Questions here are objectively answerable questions about the code, not you. — Karl Knechtel 42 secs ago

@Serg: I debugged it, so there's a call stack available at codereview.stackexchange.com/a/289721/36647 and we can clean up all the confusion and misunderstandings. Let's agree that we were all wrong. You were wrong by saying Invoke() is used. Jimi was wrong by saying BeginInvoke() is not used. And I had no idea at all, right from the beginning. And finally, Stephen Cleary was absolutely right once more. — Thomas Weller 41 secs ago

It's very clear it goes to codereview. From their "on topic" page: codereview.stackexchange.com/help/on-topicRob 26 secs ago
I changed my mind. In your question, you asked "How can I improve this?" but then you state it doesn't work exactly as you wish. The second part I missed and thought you only wanted a code review. — Rob 24 secs ago

You can't change how std::smart_ptr works. This sounds like something that code review should be responsible for. — NathanOliver 48 secs ago
