off topic, but this code would not pass my code review. If you are just learn programming, then you should take into account that the beauty of the code is no less important. this code will be read by other people, this is a banal respect. just look at your code - spaces (or not spaces) around the assignment operation, wrong indents, unnecessary empty lines... — folibis just now

Don't triple-space your code, use triple backticks before/after to make it a code block.
