Q: Is my design for data reading over an I2C bus and writing back to UART good enough?

xyfSo I implemented drivers for I2C and USART using interrupts with some guidelines online, and was wondering if I can get some suggestions from a design point of view even though the code works (tried at 9600 and 115200 baud rate), but I do get a hardfault upon using two different baud rates at rx/...

Q: "Clean Architecture" design pattern with Node.JS and MongoDB

kibeAfter some time poorly designing my web applications' backends (mixing database calls with the controller, etc.), I have decided to try the "Clean Architecture" approach. In this example I have a REST api users which allows you to get a list of all users in MongoDB and to put a user inside the d...

Your code reviewers were trying to establish a coding guideline to help people understand the code. A block of if-else statements that reference the same variable is easy for a person to understand. Your second (made up) example would be impossible for a person to understand without context, The best general programming guideline is this: Write code to make it easy for people, including yourself six months from now, to understand the code and the context of the code. — Gilbert Le Blanc just now

Q: Implement priority queue as min-heap in python

user141240The standard library heapq in python doesn't support updating keys as a public method, which makes it hard to be used as a priority queue. This question seems better suited for codereview.stackexchange.com (read their guidelines, before posting there, though), since the question "Is this a sesnsible approach?" Is primarily opinion-based. — Algirdas Preidžius 36 secs ago

@volumeone that out of the scope of SO, and should be asked on code review. Anyhow, the naming of selectFile is poor, it does reflect what any of the two cases do (1. adding the files to the list and uploading them, 2. waiting for the files to be uploaded). So this should be difeinitly two functions with proper naming. — t.niese 35 secs ago

Q: Implement hash table using linear congruential probing in python

Q: Python check repetition in matrix

You might think it's on-topic, but I can tell you with certainty that it is not. Please read about what's on-topic in the help center. "other people who may have the same problem as me"—code review problems are very hard to apply in this way. You haven't asked a clear, specific question. This might help somebody else, but how will they ever find it? Code Review is our sister site designed for exactly this purpose. Please use it. Take its tour, read its on-topic page, read its "how to ask" page, and then post according to its rules. — Chris 8 secs ago

@Peilonrayz Your comment seems to not be in alignment with the explicit site direction that I show my research effort.
