It is, it's a great and very friendly community here

@SimonAndréForsberg you killed duga...
Hiya @Henrik btw.

Note to Code Reviewers.... you cannot get votes on your answer before reload.... if you don't post the answer
Where's Duga?

@Vogel612 ah, crap, I deployed the wrong version. It currently does not have that code included...

No clue, but we had reload 5 mins ago

I'll change the version

12:04 AM
There it is...
Idea: give Duga a version that can be requested at runtime..
Use JavaBot for it :) apache license is applied

I'm about to go nuts...

about to?

My girlfriend's brother is over here. He wanted us to let his girlfriend stay at our house. I said no. But my girlfriend said they could take an old mattress of ours.

nuts? Should be 'bananas!'

They got here like an hour ago to take it.
They're still here, and now they've invited themselves to stuff out of our refrigerator.
I'm sure they're about to invite themselves to dinner too...

12:12 AM
@Vogel612 a version that can be requested at runtime?

@nhgrif Tell them to remember that for the future when you need to borrow a mattress and some food ;-)

@nhgrif You have 3 options.
be mean, be 'used', or communicate somehow.
My suggestion is as follows:

@SimonAndréForsberg something like an autogenerated buildnumber you can get from the jar you're currently running.

talk to your girlfriend on the side, say: this is frustrating me, I can roll with it if it's what you want, but we will need to make a plan in future.

No, I'm going to continue to sit upstairs and brood.
I haven't had to interact with them, and my girlfriend is awesome.
She just brought me up a plate of food.

12:15 AM
Ahhh ... sounds like she is awesome (not that I am surprised).

Q: Solidworks save as PDF macro

Is Code Review's name going to change when it is given that "makeover"?

@SirPython I'm prepared to bet against it.

No?

Probably not.

12:16 AM
Have graphics been decided upon?

Good.

no

Maybe they sponsor a domain though

@SirPython I don't think so... do you have a suggestion for another name?

no domain change

12:17 AM
No, I was just wondering.
They should have a giant monkey cover the background of the site.
2

How was that in the MSO post of yours @rolfl ?? About a year?
Yeeeeaaaa... no.

Anyone great with MathJax should give this a makeover.

I mean monkeys are cool, but....

My ListView sh(asterisk)(asterisk)s itself the moment I use Grouping. :(

@Jamal I can't see it welll from mobile. .. is that pictures??

@Vogel612 Yeah. If you move your cursor over it, and it doesn't change to a typing cursor, then it means it's not typed out.

There are two types of people that look up to role-models.

You monkeys ... You got me before even I had a chance to edit myself...

Mobile doesn't have a cursor for me:(

There are the type that want to be like you and inundate you with questions and advice seeking... then there are those that want to be like you, but it's more important to them that you know how awesome they are at things...

12:22 AM
Well it looks like mostly standard mjax...

@Vogel612 You mean your finger doesn't turn into a cursor when you touch your phone? ;)

@Vogel612 Or you can click on "edit" and see the markdown.

@Phrancis surprising, isn't it?

I'll go to bed anyways now... night

Is it disrespectful to bump my post back up the post line by doing a small edit to my post?

Apparently we can escape Asterisk with slash to stop our post to sh**t itself when trying to sensor it.

Multi-K?
Oh
Yeah, tell me about it.

Having dirty dishes at my desk is annoying. But taking it downstairs and dealing with these annoying clowns would be more annoying...

@nhgrif To help that, I drink up all my water so the next time I'm thirsty, I have another reason to get up.

reading what you said and remembering my own desk that I just managed to ignore is even more annoying @nhgrif

12:36 AM
@rolfl s/0-100/1-100/

I don't normally mind taking dishes downstairs...

But "they" are there?

But my downstairs is occupied by enemy forces
from the Clown Army.

Zombies?

Am I not helping the community by posting questions? I always feel bad whenever I post a question, because I don't post a lot of answers.

12:39 AM
Your keeping people on their mission occupied @SirPython

Is that a good thing?

Good question is as good as a good answer I'd say

@SimonAndréForsberg is Duga sick?

@SirPython Depends who you ask. JAVA kind of a running joke here. Outside of here, I'd say probably the latter of the two of your ideas.

You can't pass strings to the COS() function.

It's my own function now.

@Mehrad it's a typical monkey quote. He usually says that about some Code Review questions.
@SirPython I still think @rolfl started them. Haven't been able to prove it yet.

Q: Is it considered plagiarism if I use my OWN answers twice

MatkaI am re-doing a module that I have failed, My first assignment have some questions that are identical to the ones I answered last year, would I be violating any laws or academic practices by copying my own answers from last year and re-use them?

I never thought about it that way...

Well, they didn't ask for dinner... and they seem to be out the door... but now they're asking us for pillows/blankets/etc/etc.

12:54 AM
What are they, homeless?

Does it count as homeless if you're mid-20s and live with your parents?

Depends where the parents live.

@nhgrif Depends, do they pay rent?

Here's the level annoyance I'm at... earlier in the conversation I overheard, he was bragging about how much he gets paid (which isn't much... but it's definitely enough that he could get his own stuff).

I just poked my eye...

Or so good you couldn't do better.

@Jamal 's user ID is 22222 and is reputation is 22022...

Looks for a +200 bounty

There are at least 2 100s... but by that time, up-votes would've probably exceeded 22222

Or I can just hit the cap today, if I post enough good answers.

1:04 AM
That's true.
But you'll hit your cap before 22222

Right at the same time, actually. I've received no rep so far today.

But are you admitting to starting them right now?

Q: N-Queens optimization, c++

MarciIs it possible to optimize this solution to N-queens puzzle? #include <iostream> #include <cstdio> #include <cstdlib> #define N 10 using namespace std; /* print solution */ void printSolution(int board[N][N]) { for (int i = 0; i < N; i++) { for (int j = 0; j < N; j++) cout<<board[i][j]

@SirPython Often there is...... and there's libcurl.
Many utilities that make sense as libraries, are actually libraries, with utility commandline.

I hate when man pages, for example, say See libcurl(3) - it never makes any sense.

1:23 AM
you will need to install libcurl-dev as well to get the actual includes, and headers.

I always think it's a function call
Oh.

libcurl is the library (.so file). the libcurl-dev is wha tyou will need to compile against it.
There's also bindings available for most interpreted languages, like libcurl-python and libcurl-perl, etc.

I see. Darn - I wish I didn't have to download it.
Portability would be much easier
Bah - I hate when I can't find a good flag.

interface review anyone?
@Mat'sMug It is made up. The original question was about interface design. You asked for example code to maybe get a clearer understanding of what the interface was doing and I tried to give that without giving any of my internal repos away (DTOs, tables, etc). But to answer your questions, anything can use the repos. Could be the service/business layer. I have sometimes used these IRepositorys directly in an ApiController constructor and use them as CRUD methods mapping to Get, Put, Post, Delete. — Issa Fram 8 mins ago
