@IgorSkochinsky the un upvotes keep piling up its now 110 points down 20 yesterday and none of them on low quality or least voted posts but all from posts that have > 3 votes

they're all more than a week apart, and it's not against the rules to change one's mind. I don't think we can (or should) do anything
and you've had plenty of upvotes in the meantime

@IgorSkochinsky yeah that's right well thanks for fast reply i think i should stop looking at the score

as per SO's limitations on removing upvotes, users should not be able to remove an upvote given after a short period of time, unless said answer/question was recently edited.
A workaround could be not editing your answers :P

@NirIzr thanks for chiming in for example this post was 4 years old and active 4 years ago with 2k views and might have garnered 4 votes out of which one vote was removed today it was not edited and only one community edit (changin http to https by a bot probably happened to the post and that too a lmost year ago so it was kinda puzzling for me to thats why i queried reverseengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/3983/…

maybe some former fan does not like you anymore for whatever reason

maybe yeah well may they prosper with my old votes

Still, a question that was not modified/edited for a while has it's vote lock on and therefore users cannot just retract their upvote. Either a user was removed causing all of her upvotes being removed? or something funky happened. Regardless, I cannot think of anything @IgorSkochinsky can do about it. Instead, you may wanna open a question over at meta.stackexchange.com, explicitly focusing on vote-locked posts.

vote lock is not that long I think
hmm maybe i'm wrong

Vote lock starts 5 minutes after you've voted on a post, and is only lifted if the post was edited since then.

7:04 PM
well, then I guess edits by bots unlock it too
you could raise it on the global meta maybe

7:53 PM
you both mean i raise this here reverseengineering.meta.stackexchange.com ?

@blabb no. Not sure about Igor but I suggested meta.stackechange.com
Obviously that was a typo, and i actually meant meta.stackexchange.com

@NirIzr thanks
