@EnthusiastiC I don't know if you can or not, but even if you could, it wouldn't prove that string theory is how the universe works - all it would do is tell you what would happen if string theory is 'correct'

Second thing is that what I know as the not gate is actually unitary

But more importantly, has the measurement caused decoherence or merely the appearance of decoherence? If the entire process is unitary, it's probably actually the latter
