@Mithrandir24601 our conversation made me ponder about something:

Q: Is there any relation between Lieb-Robinson velocity bounds and micro-causality?

More AnonymousBackground So I recently asked a question about relativistic quantum mechanics and the answerer invoked micro-causality (from QFT) to show me that the assumption the information would propagate infinitely fast due to the sudden approximation was false. After talking to a friend working in quantum...

Would this be allowed in this stackexchange?

@MoreAnonymous I honestly have no idea. Strictly speaking, I'm not quite a quantum information theorist :P

@Mithrandir24601 You will be in some years though :P

It's more that I do theory of quantum photonics, less information
There are extremely strong links between the two, but I know a quantum information theorist or two and they just study different things
Like, I've had a conversation about complexity classes before, but I don't study quantum thermodynamics

@Mithrandir24601 Oooo I like Quantum thermodyanmics and have been meaning to study it
