Also, how exactly do we reward challenges?

We have about 20 offered bounties in total, for 13 categories. So that's more than enough.

In fact, 13 people offered one or more bounties. So a nice way to go about it would be for every person to award one bounty

Personally, since "Best Mathematical Insight" is this year's version of my last year's proposed category, I would prefer awarding the bounty myself on that. But I have no problem at all with giving it on another category

Ah, true. I think the usual way to deal with that is that someone writes a challenge in honour of the winner

Is it just me, or Best of was far less exciting this year, even though there were some absolutely amazing posts? I feel like the interest dropped significantly, compared to 2015, 2016,...

@Mr.Xcoder if it's decided that way, why not just do the "best explanation" bounty yourself instead of H.PWiz doing it, job done faster

This way I could also reward my challenge. The answer is No because bounties / challenges dedicated to a post draw attention upon it.
