Welcome @close-deleteautomaton.

:47968416 I'm not sure there's much more to say. I posted it in CRUDE because it's there I will go again to discuss close / delete votes in the future and I hope users there will be better able to judge my intent when I do so.
@user170039 hi, and thanks for the invite.

user131753
@close-deleteautomaton Yeah. I hope so too.

user131753
But I invited you here because I think regarding

@user170039 Anyway... I could call users in here a bunch of circle-jerking close-delete automatons like here https://chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/2165?m=47952476#47952476 and then I might not be so confident that you would take it with humour and good-spirits but I'm sure a good proportion of you would do so, and that is how it would be intended. In fact Jyrki's comment was funny and I took it that way.

You may look at the discussion between me and Alexandar Gruber in the Math Mods Office.

@user170039 but there are some users who seem to be on a hair trigger, apt to interpret anything as the worst of all possible worlds, and at the centre of all bad feeling, so after a number of agressive reactions I've finally taken the step of ignoring them on chat from now on, which hopefully should make my activity less inflammatory from now on.

user131753
@close-deleteautomaton I think that is the best thing you can do for now. I am doing the same thing also.

user131753
In any case, you need to note that the amount of time and effort spent by CRUDE-frequenters is priceless for maintaining the site quality.

For example, I fully agree with,

@gimusi The campaign to remove repetitions of homework questions, the badly phrased ones in particular, will continue. Answering them will attract the wrong kind of material here, so the campaign to remove those answers will also continue. There may be some room for compromise, but you cannot have it all your way.

@user170039 noted and I aso see your math mod comments
@user170039 re this, one of my concerns with CRUDE is rapid close-deletion not giving users the chance to edit and reopen
another concern with is not currently allayed is the fact that users are often not pinged when their content is closed/removed
but I have not grumbled about this or suggested to the contrary because I recognise that would do so, would slow the removal of such content and increase the workload.
because questions would keep coming back.

@close-deleteautomaton That is also one of my concern. But let's not continue this discussion for reasons we both know.

user131753
I think that there should be some balance. But again this may only be just me.

@user170039 ok
