Wow I just learned liam neeson was a physics/pure math major in college.
A very particular set of skills, may or may not contain mathematics and lethal combat arts.

@cOnnectOrTR12 Hi, I'm busy answering another question I'm afraid.

5:44 AM
I have a mechanical automatic watch. It charges with the hand movement. So does it charge even when the metal disk moves even a slightest bit or does it require one complete rotation?

today I found out that xkcd has an additional joke hidden in the tooltip

Yes
It can be hard to find that out if you're looking at it on a phone

@Slereah when sheldon talks physics is it correct in real life? Or some pretentious talk jibber jabber

fqq
it's pretty hit and miss IMO, in the first seasons they bothered a bit more with the blackboards etc

They have a physics consultant, which means it will usually be on topic but not very interesting
The whiteboards will usually have pretty basic textbook equation stuff

Do you own a mechanical watch?

I do not own a watch at all

I was thinking about these watches and I got stuck with how does it restore energy while winding

1:46 PM
in one of these spiral spring, as far as I know

Does it require to rotate one full rotation to charge the least or even a slightest movement is enough?

There are assemblages of cogs involved, I'm afraid it's not really my wheelhouse

how much of limit do i have to know to do physics? just able to solve problems ? is it enough?

Depends on what you want to do, but that's usually enough yes

actually i am getting a huge headache in understand how limit works, its definition. I want to understand modern physics !

it is quite a headache to learn
at least properly

4:05 PM
any tips

Practice?

you mean solve problems? instead if i try to understand the definition will it not be of much help?
is there any book which explains it beautifully...

4:32 PM
we know that limit deltax/deltat as deltat tends to zero is defined. we take a value which i thought till now is unattainable. But now i am beginning to understand that its not unattainable. its unattainable as the slope but what we do is we use algebra to rearrange it in a way that we can see whats the exact value. By removing deltat out of the denominator and putting it in with addition(for example)
i think i am right

@gls found this paper in a comment on one of your answers: arxiv.org/pdf/2003.00694.pdf
it has a four-term decomposition of separable Werner states
whether that's 'optimal' it's definitely the best i've seen so far

9:43 PM
(4-term for two qubits, d^2 for two qudits)

@Semiclassical seems quite advanced.
