My father sort of lost it right about then. After he raised his voice a bit, the person on the other end informed us that many e-mails have been sent to the delivery dept. but that they dunno why they haven't replied. Apparently, the status changes only when a delivery boy calls to confirm that we are home and that hasn't been done yet, for some reason.

BTW the laptop has a partly torn sticker on the top. I didn't remove this since I thought it wouldn't hurt to make the laptop look older and tattier than it is in case customs argued about the value.
