@DavidZaslavsky I would tend towards "not a real question" due to the vagueness. But putting it into physical simulation gives different max height makes no sense in the context of a computer simulation.

Oh, only works on MSO
NOW, he tells us that he's using box2d

A: How do I know an initial speed of a thrown object using the max height

Danicommented: the simulation is in box2d. g is not like on earth but its the same in the simulation and calculation

@DavidZaslavsky Migrate to gamedev.SE, let them close it ;P
THose guys deal woth box2d a lot

Q: Rotating Disc and Magnetic Field

mrcharlieI'm studying for exams, and I am curious as to how the rotation of a disc would affect the magnetic field. The following problem stumps me: A plastic disc of radius $R$ has a charge $q$ uniformly distributed over its surface. If the disc is rotated at an angular speed $W$ rad/sec about an axi...

Kind of a shame when someone asks a question, gets 80% of the way toward making it acceptable, and then (perhaps) leaves...
Idea: I'd like to merge into , can anyone think of a counterargument?
