Recently in Philosophy of Mathematics chatroom you left a comment which I think is more suitable for this room. Would you mind if I remove them to this room @user21820?

@user170039 Just trash whatever you wish to censor. There is no point moving them here.

user131753
@user21820 I do not wish to censor your comment. I just thought that the last two comments will be more relevant to this room. So I thought that I would let you know this.

@user170039 I prefer my comments where they are, but since you are the room owner and censored many of my previous comments I thought you would do the same again.
Anyway, do what you wish with those messages. If that user hadn't pinged me there, I wouldn't have replied there.

And just in case @user21820, I am sorry that our earlier interaction had such an unfortunate ending. However, if you are willing to sort things out between us I would be glad to do so (but in a separate gallery chat-room) because both of us know how much you helped me in my studies in FOL. (You are free to trash this comment also.)

DONT TRASH APOLOGIES!!!

@user170039 Okay I will move this to a separate room. Give me a while.

user131753
By the way, @DavidReed, I left a comment to you in this room. Did you not get the ping?

9 messages moved from Logic
@user170039: So, what do you wish to sort out?

user131753
@user21820 The misunderstanding between us.

But how?
I believe this started ever since I told you I found Wittgenstein's opinion on mathematical logic to be not worth bothering about. And I did the same for some other philosophers. Most recently, I said that Russell didn't seem to understand Godel's incompleteness theorem. You then kept pestering me with all sorts of articles you found online to support those. Some of them were posted by cranks, which I told you as well in the past.
At one point even you admitted that you were not satisfied with your professor's response to the question of the unreasonable meaningfulness of PA to the real world.
And yet you still cling to your views and keep asking me philosophical questions that (seemingly) always lead to questions about what person X meant when he/she said Y.
And when I say I don't believe those fanciful hypotheses that cast them in a better light, you say that I haven't provided any evidence.
That's still okay. What is not okay is that you proceeded to censor some of my criticisms.

@user21820 "I believe this started ever since I told you I found Wittgenstein's opinion on mathematical logic to be not worth bothering about." - I think so (although an exact link of the comments/chain-of-comments) would be good.

I grant that you have the right to do whatever you like in your room, but you did that while I was still co-owner of the Philosophy of Mathematics room.
Then you (unsurprisingly) removed me from being owner.

user131753
Ok. I will let you finish.

At that point, I was still hoping that you would not make a habit of censoring me. Hence I still contributed to your room.
But when I see a crank and call it a crank, and you censor me, you do a disservice to all students who seek truth. Unless I am wrong, but you have never shown me to be wrong but always silently deleted a comment here and a comment there.
Even the very last occasion I assumed it was an accidental mistake when you deleted my comment about George.
But as it turns out, you purposely did it, as you admitted yourself.
So my offer still stands: You stop censoring me, especially when I call out nonsense, and I will attempt to go back to before when interacting with you.
I have little tolerance for nonsense, because it is actively harmful to people.

And I have nothing personal against you.
Finally, I want an honest answer from you. You wished to privately chat with a moderator about me, am I right?

user131753
@user21820 Before that I want an honest answer from you: You downvoted this question, right? If so why?

@user170039 Can you give me a direct link? Yours is not working.

Q: "Gödel's paradox"?

user 170039In his lecture What if Current Foundations of Mathematics are Inconsistent? Vladimir Voevodsky told something equivalent to the following, On the one hand we know that first order arithmetic is consistent. On the other hand it can be proved that it is impossible to prove that first order arit...

Anyway you say you want to sort out a misunderstanding, but you expect me to answer your questions before you answer mine?
Well well...

user131753
@user21820 If you don't wish to answer then don't bother. I will as well ignore this comment and will try to respond to other comments.

user131753
But give me some time because I will be busy for quite sometime. I will try to respond when I come back.

Let me just say that you do not seem sincere in learning logic. This has resulted in all the issues in our past interactions.

user131753
@user21820 Was this intended to be an answer of this?

@user170039 It was intended to be a general statement, nothing to do with particular posts.
@user170039 Furthermore, I notice that you do not promise me an answer to my question even if I answer yours. Will you tell me precisely why you want to talk about me behind my back? I doubt so.
I also notice your initial statement is regarding whether I am willing to sort things out between us. What about you yourself?
If you want to sort things out, you have to stop censoring me when I call a duck a duck. Many times I even quote logic experts to back up my claims, but what do you do? You delete my comments with those quotes, saying they are irrelevant to your room.
