hi

@SilouaneGerin hi

how are you ?

good. you?

fine
(sorry shitty internet connection)
i don't know if you're familiar with this issue
but I have to choose between self-hosted video and embedding from vimeo for my wordpress

i saw the question. i would not host video myself if at all possible
i always discourage video hosted on site. gobbles up bandwidth if the client is moderately successful (sees much traffic). so why take on that burden? vimeo or youtube work perfectly fine. vimeo is premium i believe. at least to not have ads and whatnot.

1:59 PM
yeah i guess so...
ok thanks
i think it will be easier for everyone if we use vimeo
god i hate my parents' isp

2:37 PM
@Rarst oho, nice queryposts ad :)

@Sven hm? do you mean community ad?

@Rarst jep
@Rarst saw it for the first time right now :)

that's some serious case of banner blindness...

perhaps Adblock :P

9:17 PM
yeah, been quiet :) I had headache, what's your excuses?

working on like 7 projects at once

that is not going to end well

no, i'm afraid not. so i was using add_inline_style to good effect
in a plugin i'm working on
but then wanted to go even more bananas on the plugin and give users the option to define sizes for media queries
any thoughts on best way to push user input into those fields? other than just echoing out the computed CSS into the body of the page.
example: @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 959px) { }
where those px values would be variables.
i wonder if wp_add_inline_style would still work to redeclare those statements
