@breath Do you know any pali sutta in which "mundane knowledge" is mentioned?

8:08 PM
No - do i do assume if there is a word for supermundane knowledge there should be for regular knowlefge as well

9:04 PM
@breath What word are you using for "supermundane knowledge"?
I think it's generally lokuttara for supermundane and lokiya for mundane -- so, maybe lokiya ñāṇa.

9:15 PM
i really cant find it now the word now - but i do remember runing into it
even though i gave a look - maybe in the future i will run into it
here i googled something : what about ... paññā ?
intersting that it says in wiki :

"Prajñā is often translated as "wisdom", but is closer in meaning to "insight", "discriminating knowledge", or "intuitive apprehension".[1]

jñā can be translated as "consciousness", "knowledge", or "understanding".[web 1]
Pra is an intensifier which can be translated as "higher", "greater", "supreme" or "premium",[web 2] or "being born or springing up",[2] referring to a spontaneous type of knowing.[2]
"
..... so maybe jñā or in pali ññā? is knowledge ? (mundane knowledge)

ohh its the same i think - not panna but ññā and ñāṇa - so i guess ñāṇa is the answer to this
panna is supermundane - what is called wisdom - insight knowledge
