I have a working Tametsi solver woohoo!

you have a what O_o
i wonder how it would do compared to Eric's

I would guess about the same. It's puzzle generation that's hard, not so much puzzle solving.

4:58 AM
About to test it on Combination Lock I now.

5:35 AM
Well, um, it's hella slow.

This is tricky stuff. Lots of places for hard-to-spot bugs. I'll continue working on it tomorrow.

@El'endiaStarman yeah, it's not a simple problem to solve. I was very happy to have mine working and acceptably fast. It was nice to be able to black box it after that
but, congrats that you have the code working at all

12:55 PM
@El'endiaStarman I'll share my solver with you too, but I wanted to see how yours differs from what I did

1:48 PM
@EricTressler Gimme time to make it actually work. It currently hits a mine in the third round for Combination Lock I.

hmm. that's annoying. good luck

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it's my method for "combining" inequalities. One is a subset of the other and I adjust the bounds for the subset and create a new inequality for the complement.

It's a giant pain in the ass, that's for sure. My code for that is still a mess, but since it works, I've left it
