@AndrewT. I was randomly browsing the Nintento Eshop some days ago and saw Yume Niki on discount.

But it was the remake.

And I heard that the remake is kinda meh.

Haven't been watching or playing anything. Been to busy with projects and job hunting ^^

I've been playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC with various EVO Mods including the Voice Mod which adds the EVO version's japanese dialog but it also still had the English Dub for the battle voices so you'll here a character talk Japanese right before a Boss Battle and then various english lines when they attack, use crafts or their burst. its not as distracting as you might think

@Memor-X Watched the series, and it is indeed much the same.

@Dimitrimx that's disappointing. the story concept seems interesting but the motion manga like style of animation seem lazy for an official production

I can agree, all though I could appreciate the simplicity.
It mostly involved multiple very short stories, as opposed to full episodes.
I would probably have minded it more if it were full episodes/stories in the style
