@Dimitrimx ok. my sprint has been messed up now because someone decided that in a couple of weeks we need to make a C# Program compatible with Linux by converting it to Java and once again i feel like they are using "urgancy" to skip planning because, after briefly looking at the code, we could have made several PBIs, pointed, assigned them our properly and have decent testing of the work had we planned it out
also doesn't help that we dont have the linux boxes to test on so i'm going to have to take care to avoid anything uniquely windows
how about you?

@Memor-X Sounds kind of rushed indeed. Especially considering C# can run on linux just as well.
It's been hot the last few days, got me a tad exhausted.
beyond that pretty good. lots of talking with Krazer, and finally did some development on Hanyuu (the discord bot). After 2 years of not touching it, it was slowly starting to fall apart ;p
But the long weekend gave me some space to work on that

Q: Fairy Tail can you end up with a different type of magic than taught?

KairySo, I’ve just been wondering... In Fairy Tail, can you end up with a different magic than you’ve been taught? e.g: You’re trained by a fire dragon but ends up with Ice Dragon Slayer Magic. e.g: You’re trained by an Ice-Make wizard but ends up with Fire-Make magic. Stuff like that. Cuz in Fairy...

@Dimitrimx i think the main issue is that it uses .net and/or linux needs something extra that's not approved for Prod. like before we was lead to belive we wouldn't need to convert out Powershell scripts because we kept getting told there was a module for Linux that allowed them to work, in the end after we migrated some boxes to Linux were we told that the module was not approved

Always fun to hear those things after the facts >.

the good thing though is that alot of syntax between C# and Java are the same so if i copy the same data structure i should have little issue. the only potential problem is that the C# program uses Newtonsoft.Json
again i've been told we do have an approved library for JSON serialisation, but in the worse case scenario i can make something that outputs the same JSON but not being robust that it can be used in anything
@Dimitrimx how do you mean it was falling apart?

Some of the commands stopped working because they updated the API.
audio quality was on decline. It was setup to handle more than 1 server, but not 50+ servers and such
So I removed the defect commands, reworked the audio part.
Updated the feed functionality to integrate the new API information.
And introduced a bug that causes the audio to stop playing after a while for some yet unknown reason.
