And yes, GiB/s, not Gbps! Though that's usually only possible for burst reads/writes. It can sustain that for a second or two before it needs to throttle as a result of heat buildup.

@forest Isn't NVMe supposed to be used as a supplemental cache? At any rate, I'm not really sure it'd have that big of an effect for the actual playing of games, since the levels are mostly preloaded. Rumor has it that even upgrading from mechanical to solid state doesn't make that big of a difference in terms of actual gameplay performance, and S.A.T.A. III is already so fast anyway.
