Q: 2 mangas forgotten names romance

Irina FedorovaFirst one: all I can remember is that there are three guys and one girl and the girl's fiancee (who isn't meantioned right away) is some kind of demon. This one I have no hopes for getting a name for. Second one: So it follows a girl who works at a job editing videos or something. A guy that had...

Q: What is that anime that had a Pokemon arc?

AngelThere was an anime I saw way back when and I can't remember it. All I remember was that there was an arc where some of the characters were sent into a game that was similar to Pokemon. I think the main character had the weakest monster that was useless, by the end of the arc it was found that th...

BJ Peter DeLaCruzIn the anime Cells at Work (Hataraku Saibou) that is currently airing, AE3803 is a Red Blood Cell who does not have a sense of direction while delivering packages to different parts of the human body. What does “AE” stand for?

Morning

@Armin morning
you in japan now?

Nope, still studying. I'll be moving end of September/beginning of October

5:57 AM
@Armin wait, you got to study first?

gotta learn that language first to an appropriate level iirc
@tosh wait, did the crunchy roll job turn squishy on you?

@Memor-X nope, I'm just doing my master degree. I'll be done mid to end of September
@Hakase i learn Japanese there. LINE wants me to learn it and they pay for it xD

ohayou

@Proxy yohao

oyaho!
@iKlsR was gonna ask for source, then found a slightly better crop and character tags, but still no source manga. So source pls

6:21 AM
@Armin wait you are going to work there for line?
fukoka or tokyo?

@Proxy probably their new office in Kyoto, why?

i was thinking of applying as well.
although i am not sure if i will be able to pass the test... it says it requires some deep knowledge about networking, how os are working etc... i forgot a lot of stuff from the college since i am not using it here at all

Oh, ok, the job descriptions only included Fukuoka and Tokyo but they send you a questionnaire where they also include Kyoto. To be allowed to go to Tokyo, you have to be able to speak Japanese (which I'm not). Since I love history and culture, I chose the former capital.

how was the selection process?

Well, I didn't have enough experience for the original job but they offered an entry position. The interviews and tests were pretty easy. I shouldn't talk about the tests though...

6:29 AM
was it practical stuff or more theoretical?
like data structures, threading etc?

The tests were practical but also not like outsourcing real problems they have, mostly taking a look at how you solve problems.
More about runtime and algorithms

eh i forgot about that stuff...

Not a formal analyses, when you can think of efficient code, that's enough.

the tests were on sport or you could solve them at home( i mean like they give you a time period)?

Well, I'm in Germany, so on site would have been pretty hard xD but they used a page where they could give you a time limit and you said you wanted to start now and then you got the problem and had x amount of time. One problem was planned for 1.5h the other for the week you had time to do the tests at all

6:35 AM
yeah thats what i want to know :P. for what position did you apply?
if i am asking too much just tell and i will (maybe) stop :P

Software engineer entry position

frontend?

No, i just don't talk about the specific problems themselves (although a pretty easy standard one was asking them xD)
They all you what your preferences are but in the end, they decide. I'm more of a backend guy. But maybe they'll try to get me more towards full stack

nice

They all you what your preferences are but in the end, they decide. I'm more of a backend guy. But maybe they'll try to get me more towards full stack

6:40 AM
well i will spam you a bit move when you move there.
to see how things are on the work place

Ok xD

you specifically wanted to move to japan or?

Any of these three would have been fine
Yep, i tried to find a job specifically in Japan, s. Korea and China

oh
so asia fan
that is nice, maybe we will become coworkers :P

6:47 AM
That'd nice xD

just one last question, the salary was as they said in the job offer or as usual it was lower?
cause thos 6 000 000 yen would be nice to have

Since I'm getting an entry position it could be lower. Or with more variability. I can get something between 5 and 6.5 million (with extra stuff). They're currently talking internally how much they should offer me after I sent them my study report card.

that salary is still okay for japan.
so you will be okay

Yep, i think so as well

i asked my friend when i saw the offer, and it is more then enough if you live normally.

7:06 AM
Yeah, i asked a few questions on r/movingtojapan and they said pretty much the same thing

7:35 AM
Morning :)

@Morwenn morning

I made bread yesterday /o/

7:53 AM
@Hakase i never got the crunchy job unfortunately
I'm working for Intel at the moment
also Morning
@Morwenn :o nice

Hey :D

I made banana bread recently, but as a gift so i didnt get to taste it

tbh it was a bit of a failure: I didn't have enough time to let the dough rest (I started kneading the dough circa 9pm) so there's still some yeast taste and it's undercooked in the middle :/

aw :(
i've got some homebrew equipment for beer/wine now and there are so many yeast options id even k

I've never tried making beer :o

8:02 AM
my brother does it, sometimes its yummy
it's kinda 50/50 :P

Our previous accordeonist once made beetroot beer

8:15 AM
@Hakase so cute!

8:29 AM
@Morwenn ooh
i want to make banana wine

that's uncommon :p

8:47 AM
:)

1 hour later…
10:10 AM
@ToshinouKyouko oh no how so

@ToshinouKyouko how about some banana phone? youtu.be/j5C6X9vOEkU

I thought you were rolling in crunchiness all this time
@ToshinouKyouko there are a couple twitch shows with which you can explore all sorts of yeasts, malts and additives
do you have one of the arduino brewing machines?

@Hakase was a long shot, remote position
@Hakase nope, just the manual bottles and stuff

developer? or some kind manager

10:22 AM
@ToshinouKyouko ooh try picobrew things
they cost around 1-2k usd but they are totally worth the manual effort it saves you
from what I'm reading anyways >.>

I've been to my local brewery to buy some grains and hops for experimentation with tea

they've shown me the vast amount of tools for 100% manual labors, but the tools required if you have one of these machines actually fit into a regular sized apartment unlike option A :p
@Taisho I know that artist

seems interesting, ill try some small scale stuff first though :)

10:25 AM
check out the picobrew's recipes

i would also like to do some tea mixing, i tried it once but failed badly

lots of breweries sell pre-made packages of ingredients with instructions for these standard devices
it's really easy if you have the money to get into this hobby
eh don't mix tea I'd say
just find high quality chinese reds, some pu erhs, some sencha/gyokuro, genmaicha, some roasted green ones like kukicha, hojicha and what else they got
a couple earl greys?

keemun, darjeeling
maybe something classic like plain black indian teas
just find one of each of these and you'll be good for any kind of weather
maybe oolongs or green chinese teas but I don't have a taste for oolongs and out of chinese greens I only like xi hu longjing which is basically chinese sencha
but the leaves are big and flat

oolongs are ok, but not my favourite
i like pu erhs

10:29 AM
can you say you have a taste for pu erhs?
I've tried like 20 and they're either bland or too intense or just right (only 1 sort I've found is by a noticeable margin better than the rest)
maybe I'm not making them the right way

@Hakase yeah, i think it takes a while to like them, kinda like coffee or something

hohohooo
have you ever tried putting a packet of dat powdered coffee?
I've tried vanilla cappucino recently... wow!
it's surprisingly drinkable

i have tried powdered coffee a few times, but i've only liked one

both flavors compliment each other

maybe im doing something wrong
because it tastes powdery

10:34 AM
well there's regular coffee to which my body says WHYYY and so I can't drink it
then there's granulated coffee like nescafe, largely the same reaction but in the lower body section and with a long delay
still very regretable
and then there are packeted coffees and asian canned coffees
packeted ones still carry some of the negative effects but much much less than granulated
canned coffees are practically fine for me
and they taste great!
I love canned coffee drinks from all countries but korea and japan make the most of them

i love canned coffee

I never tried adding those to pu erh but I imagine it's gonna be a similar success
I'll probably try soon now that I've noted that

or vietnamese coffee with condensed milk

eeh
I tried it a couple times in different ways
if it's still made with real coffee, it hurts my body :(
and I've never seen canned or packeted coffee with "condensed milk" flavor
but that gives me an interesting idea
I'll try adding a spoonful of it
also I tried adding condensed milk to pu erh, it's kinda ok if you measure it just right

10:39 AM
I've had much better luck with different honeys
buckwheat is peculiar

honey in tea is yummy

the opaque white-ish floral honeys have a nice strong flavor to add to the woody pu erh base
just some standard "forest" honeys are nice too

oh, ive only tried boring shop honey, i am intrigued

I'd say honey is the best additive to pu erhs in terms of good results per total variation amount
well, go to a different shop where they have 20 different honeys of the same brand and 8 different brands to pick from
I've found shops with variety like that
turns out they were just around the corner from my old regular shops

10:43 AM

yo
and that's my nice gun girl again

@Hakase have you ever tried cold Brew (coffee)?

yea
all natural coffee makes my insides hurt
I'm a delicate boi
so I drink synthetic manufactured coffee replacement imitations :I

i dont really like cold brew, i dont get it

me neither
I also tried cold brew teas and didn't have any success with making it drinkable coz it went bitter by the time it was intense enough to not be called "water with vague tea flavor"
maybe if you make it 40% sugar it doesn't bitter as fast? idk

Q: Can a person who was converted into half Ghoul by replacing parts of his organs be reverted to human by replacing those organs with human ones?

PabloIn Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki was converted into a half Ghoul when he was transplated organs from a female Ghoul into his body. Can a person like him, who was converted into half Ghoul by replacing parts of his organs, be reverted to human by replacing those organs with human ones?

I've never tried cold Brew, people told new that it doesn't taste like hot brewed coffee at all, so I might like it...

11:19 AM
well, it really does taste differently but it's like you filter out highfrequencies out of a melody
supposedly there's no bitterness but I still got it hella bitter
coffee is just a bitter drink to me no matter what sort or kind I pick
but I suppose that's because it's not fresh
they say the best coffee is when it's only been out of the plant for less than 2 months
if it's older than that, it starts bittering, even before you roast or of blend into powder
so yea I've never bought green beans to roast at home
but I've ground supposedly fresh beans to make a pot on hot sand before
I guess it's smoother than the store-bought coffee, especially pre-ground
but still it's not smooth enough so I can call it not bitter
only canned coffees are not bitter in my opinion
and you can get cold cans off the shelf easily :p
put em in the fridge!
cold brew right there
compare to actual cold brew when you make it and tell me which one you like best

11:38 AM
Well, i won't make cold Brew soon. I don't own any coffee and i don't have enough time to do some time intensive things. But I'll tell you xD

11:57 AM
you just add some water and put it in the fridge, not much time really required
but sure, no pressure

Well, since i don't like coffee normally at all, i want to do it right. Maybe not with roasting myself but with freaky roasted beans grounded myself

I like sugary coffee and I'll drink it like that even if it's instant coffee

I'm trying not to consume too much sugar, so I don't want any artificial sugar in my drinks...

Oh, then I would never drink coffee nor tea x)

You need sugar in your tea?

12:07 PM
It's the only sugary thing I drink though since I don't drink soda nor juice
When I drink tea (which is sometimes 5 times a day but I haven't drunk tea in months), it's always with sugar too

I only drink mint tea with sugar and then it's rock candy
2 pieces on 400 to 500 ml

I mostly drank lady grey or orange-cinnamon tea in teabags v0v
or thyme infusion

What's lady grey? I mostly drink green tea normally

I don't like green tea >.>
lady grey is like earl grey but there is a strongest orange taste IIRC

Hmm... Not the biggest black tea fan myself but when I drink it, i try to drink it without any other aromas

12:14 PM
I guess I just don't like raw tea x)
Wait, maybe I drank black tea with only sugar sometimes

Do you like green tea mixtures like green tea with lemon or with vanilla?

I don't know, probably not v0v

@Armin I don't like coffee normally at all also, and no matter how right I had it made for me in restaurants and coffee bars, it's bad :p
I like either fake canned coffee or coffee-flavored milk/cream/sugar mixtures
it might be there is no good "real" coffee for us in this world
I'm fine with that

It's fun how coffee-flavoured stuff has little to do with raw coffee bitterness :p

12:22 PM
@Morwenn yea
I always put 1 cube in my cup
without sugar there's some unpleasant flavor in tea

The most exepensive coffees in the world aren't that bitter IIRC, but way too expensive to even consider them x)

with sugar it's all good
idk how it works, but it might have to do with my favorite brewing method

I also dislike coffee flavored stuff... I don't like coffee ice cream or anything...

Sometimes I wonder whether I really like coffee or whether I just like drinking coffee and sugar makes it tolerable

@Armin I also don't like most of those
but to be fair those types of products usually are not good with most of their flavors
like the "decorative chocolate" which isn't real chocolate and tastes like filth
those "chocolate-glazed" eclairs? bleh

12:24 PM
On the other hand I really dislike cream or milk in my coffee, so maybe I actually like sugary black coffee

@Armin what kinda green?

I like coffee ice cream or coffee glaze but it's got little to do with coffee ^^'

@Morwenn why not? what greens do you not like?

@Morwenn or maybe you just like sugar and you tolerate everything around it xD

I can't drink most chinese greens coz they're filthy bitter

12:25 PM
@Hakase All of those I've ever tasted

at least the way I make em
you've probably tasted packeted green teas which are trash of course

@Armin No because I can't stand capuccino, mocca and stuff, even with sugar in

@Hakase I'm just a poor student xD i didn't have the chance to get around to really try different types of tea. Furthermore, Germany isn't that big with green tea, sadly

regular greens require careful storage in a fridge in a tighly closed jar so it doesn't oxidize and get bitter

@Hakase yeah, anything else than packeted isn't worth my time :v

12:26 PM
but those packeted ones are just dead from birth
well you should reevaluate your time

Wait, I might have liked a light flowered green tea with actual flowers in it in China 10 years ago

like you can't always eat instant ramen
sure it saves time but is it the best food?

@Hakase no, my time is fine and I've got enough things I like which are fast to prepare

Well, first my master thesis, then moving to Japan, then getting to know tea xD
I think that sounds like a sensible plan

Hot drinks are among the things I want ready fast

12:27 PM
it takes only 20 more seconds to open the packet, pour some tea leaves into the filter, close the packet and put it back into the fridge
it's the same as the paper-bagged teas otherwise

Still, I don't care enough v0v
We already had this discussion at least twice

and you still don't care enough!
you!
when will you start caring

probably never

this is tea we're talking about

'cause I can make instant coffee :D

12:29 PM
>:O
you can also make instant tea
but do you?
not in upstanding households you don't!

Plus I don't have anything to throw after instant coffee and I can reuse the mug as is several times, which is great x)
I haven't drunk tea in half a year

insanity
what have you been drinking then

coffee

x_x

coffee doesn't affect my sleep so I can drink it at any hour x)

12:31 PM

@Armin you can get as little as 20 grams which is gonna cost you about half a buck per sort, and get a whole bunch of sorts of teas to try out, the tea shop will probably gladly do it for you, knowing such customers often return for more
@Morwenn well, my sleep is fucked anyways, but coffee kills me from the inside, so

when I don't drink coffee it's either beer or water

alright I get it you don't like good things >.>

no u
Belgian triple beer is the finest thing out there :D

u.u
well I wouldn't know

12:35 PM
@Hakase well, tea shops aren't that big here. And if i buy some training i want to do it right and sit down, relax and drink it and try it.

And let's be honest, tap water is fucking great :o

I guess beers are interesting and good in all sorts of ways but I'm hella afraid of getting fat and also addicted and I don't have that kinda money to spend on homebrewing equipment and bottles

And you can drink loads of it without any adverse effect

@Morwenn no you didn't!
take it back

@Morwenn when i was still drinking beer i looked Franconian beer best.

12:36 PM
I sometimes feel like I'm the only person actually enjoying water xD

I'm drinking water right now!

@Armin I've never heard of it :o

bottled water
tap water they got here at work is terrible
even after the filter

The water is clean enough at the tap that I never need bottles ^^'

all that's left is the emptiness in your soul

12:37 PM
Franconia is a region in Germany. As far as i know it is the region with the highest brewery density in the world

there isn't any limestone in the region

@Armin it's not like they have to be big, I've found like 6 good tea shops in the entire city and it's the capital of the entire country

@Armin oh right, I've heard that German beers are good light beers but I mostly drink strong ones

you can make strong german beers

Well, Moscow is a bit bigger than Stuttgart and also, Russia has a bit more of a tea culture

12:38 PM
I wouldn't say that

@Morwenn what's your definition of light? Normal beers are around 5% vol

@Armin 5% is light in my book :p
Most of what I drink is between 7% and 10%
Except IPAs

sure we got lots of filthy "tea" shops where they sell only the cheapest indian and ceylon sorts but with all the different artificial flavorings which make your head dizzy after a while and you feel like you've entered a lush soap shop

the heavy stuff is often the tastiest

but if you're looking for high quality chinese or japanese teas, it's rare

12:40 PM
You have samovar in Russia, not in Germany. The only region in Germany known for drinking tea is East frisia and they drink mostly (as far as i know) early grey

most shops only carry like 5 kinds of japanese/chinese and that's it

@ToshinouKyouko Depends, there are 10% beers that only taste like alcohol

the rest is like 200 varieties of differently flavored cheapest black teas
earl grey is one of the teas I like to have in stock but it's one of like 15
others being sencha/gyokuro, genmaicha, xi hu longjing, hojicha/kukicha/kokeicha, a red chinese, 2 pu erhs, keemun, darjeeling and a couple more
but you wouldn't find most of those in 99% of tea shops

I don't like Earl grey. When i drink black tea, i want the pure black tea flavor, no added things...

Apparently Lady Grey was an attempt from Twinings to make a tea more suitable for Nordic countries which found Earl Grey too strong x)

12:43 PM
you can add your own
a couple drops of tangerine is nice
@mor so you do home brewing?

I don't like to add things. I like the pure black tea flavor

have you tried pu erh?
you might like it more

@Hakase I used teabags, do I look like the kind to do home brew? xD

yes

Nope, like i said, it's hard getting good tea here...

12:46 PM
there are pre-packaged brewing kits for dumdums
put bag 1, press start, then after 20 minutes put bag 2

well, no

it's real easy these days

I did bake bread yesterday but that was only because I was in a state of despair

you should google up these kits

I wouldn't be desperate for tea x)
Not even for coffee actually

12:47 PM
I've boken breadz before >.>
it got hella boke
I don't book breadses anymore

@Armin pu erh is actually pretty popular and can even find it in those filthy tea shops which I don't like
even the worst pu erh should give you a pretty good idea
although I shouldn't be advocating for the "worst" teas
just google japanese tea shops in your area
I'm sure there will be at least one
@mor and you should put more effort into things you like
with just a little bit more it could be soooo much better

cooking & similar activities aren't among the things I like

and honestly I am appalled
we've talked about tea twice and you're still not feeling the energy!

nope, I've even stopped drinking tea at all in the meantime xD
grats

12:51 PM
I have created the darkest timeline
truly legendary, as the biblical stories foretold
with good intentions, the road to hell was paved

It's just that there are some areas in life when I don't care about the quality, I just go for the least annoying solution

I know

I don't eat bad bread though

I don't eat bread at all

To each their own v0v

12:55 PM
well I would like to be able to eat tasty bread but we don't have tasty bread around here

Well, I do eat bad bread sometimes because the bread I baked yesterday was bad >.>

you've baked bread! surely you could brew a beer
so much room for experimentation and enjoyment
so much fun to be had

I can do without beer or without alcohol v0v
It's among the things I enjoy consuming, not creating

well, I have been able to do without beer my entire life
and I still haven't started and not planning to
beer is only adjacent to my flavorful adventures, and I am only interested in the grains used in its production

can't blame you for not wanting to drink alcohol x)

12:56 PM
but I could totally see it as a hobby for some other people
well, I'm mostly not in favor of beer because it is seen as an inferior spirit
like you could have a much more refined alcohol

now that's utter bullshit

like wines, whiskeys and such
it's a different spectrum of flavors sure

there's no inferior or superior, it's all a matter of taste anyway

also I see all the beer fanatics and they're all plump and kirby-shaped
I don't wanna look like kirby
I like my slim bod
that's the real factor here
also it'd probably be addictive as hell and the alcohol would kill me physically and socially

do I look plump and kirby-shaped x)
physically any alcohol is terrible

12:59 PM
no, but! if it's something I could drink like I could drink tea, I would drink it every day, 3-4 mugs on average, and guess what would happen
not much good I imagine, all that on top of it costing a lot more than tea
