Q: How many of Dr Gero's Androids were actually Androids and how many were Cyborgs?

Memor-XWe know that Androids 17 and 18 were in fact humans who were enhanced making them Cyborgs rather than Androids (as evident by at least 18 after the Cell Saga) and Dr Gero himself had his own brain in his Android Body which makes him a Cyborg because he is still part biological. Out of all of the...

Watching a Bitesize Rerun of Hidden Japan with Adam Liaw and despite the cabbage in it i would like to try this
Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き, o-konomi-yaki) ( listen ) is a Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "how you like" or "what you like", and yaki meaning "grill" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba). Okonomiyaki is mainly associated with the Kansai or Hiroshima areas of Japan, but is widely available throughout the country. Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region. Tokyo okonomiyaki is usually smaller than a Hiroshima or Kansai okonomiyaki. == Kansai area == Kansai- or Osaka-style okonomiyaki is the predominant version of the dish...

@Memor-X lol what how
@Darjeeling i don't know

> FOOL! As someone who is unaware of the vital role that singing has played in the cultural history of mankind you are in no position to question me. Remember that the next time you stop to consider your place in this world. You do not possess the power to deny a singer his song. Do you understand what I'm telling you?
he both annoys and makes you laugh
05:24
I was mostly annoyed and didn't laugh coz these jokes had a really childish pacing. You know what the joke is about and wanna see something else, but it just keeps dragging on. You could say that "that's the joke that it keeps dragging on" but then I'd say that I don't have to watch something that doesn't provide enough entertainment for me
which is the case with a lot of the poorly paced comedy animes
I just don't watch them coz it's not fun enough
maybe if you're 10 years old, but if you don't have mental development issues, you'll soon grow out of that style of humor and will want more refined comedy material
btw talking about jokes for kids, children these years are much more savvy in terms of humor than a decade or two ago
with the spread of the internet and how fast a joke becomes old, and kids look for something new to laugh at, the rate at which their sense of humor advances has increased a lot
you could make the same joke for years before, now it's a few months max before you get shunned for referencing lame old memes
@Hakase touch the frog still gets me
reddit changes their fads in meme and joke subs almost weekly
@Memor-X what is that?

Q: Are there any differences between the movie adaptation and the novel?

Aki TanakaWikipedia mentions that the movie is an adaptation of the novel. While the article tells the story in detail (if not overly detail for Wikipedia), the article on the novel doesn't have any summary for each novel. Does the movie faithfully adapt the novel? Are there any differences between the mo...

> Happy Kissing Day from Japan!
> Tomorrow (May 23) is known as kisu no hi or “kiss day,” so I thought I'd talk about the Western practice of kissing in Japan. Although kissing is seen as a modern import from the West, along with automobiles, movie theaters and business suits, kissing in Japan has actually always been a thing, showing up in the art of the Edo Period (1603-1868) and the literature of the Heian Period (794-1185).

A kiss is a very big deal in Japan, done only by lovers in private, and Japanese are scandalized at the thought of displaying affection in public, which they sometimes see when visiting other cou
