@Peilonrayz To appropriately play devil advocate, "Lucifer" name does indeed come from the word "Luce"

And that is because after all Lucifer is a fallen angel.

Whatever way you look at it, Lucifer wasn't created as evil.

They rebelled afterward out of pride and ambition.

.... and that is without getting into the whole theology mess with some groups claiming that Lucifer isn't even "evil" in the way we humans mean but just a part of God design.

so, more seriously, you should go ask that on the Christianity chat room.

Or just call (her?) Hikari instead.

I was raised Christian... I wouldn't say Lucifer rebelled out of pride. I would say Lucifer rebelled out of love of people, but Lucifer's pride clouded Lucifer's judgment and as such wished for an authoritarian system. But as with all things Christian no-one is right and a million different interpretations exist

Lucifer parallels the 7 fallen angels in the books of Enoch.

and I think no one agrees on who predated who.

Or at least... I know too little about it to really comment.

Also worth noticing that both parallels the idea behind the Demiurge in Gnosticim
