currently I see two contenders.

The "pony" model family.

And "Flux"

now, the pony model probably wins by the amount of "known" characters

but flux is newer and probably will play better with ultra-high resolution

The pony model uses a "tag" based prompt style

example:

score_9, solo, Fluttershy, outdoor, smiling, portrait,

Flux seems to be more "text/description" based. That said, I also find that it seems more prone to ignoring parts of the prompt as a result.

With Flux you can say something like...

Ah ok, I'm used to the Danbooru tag model so I may stick with Pony over Flux.

To get good img2img requires a different parameter setup than str2img

Basically the author of the pony model - someone by the name of AstraliteHeart - pretended to have removed the artist tagging from the training images to to protect the artists

That was later proven false: they didn't remove the data, just... encode it somehow.

yet, someone managed to find out some codes that trigger some styles.

so, you can replicate some styles

this ^ is clearly replicating that style

you can force this style by adding "ntv, ramx" to the prompt

Without the obvious watermark copy. The two are distinct enough where I'd believe the two are similar but by two people following the same style guide. Perhaps I'm just being pedantic because the bottom one doesn't have as nice black lines as the top one.

look, there are quite blatant examples. And some pointed out that it is quite clearly not just pony artist.

that said, this is valid for the base model. But then people started making fine tune version that forced other styles
