Q: how many characters are there in full metal alchemist:brotherhood

user71706I need it to be specific please. That would be amazing. My question is about a question in full metal alchemist brotherhood.

So, I watched The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten purely because the description said the main character Amane was "socially awkward". But he wasn't. Frankly, the only thing awkward in this show was the writing and dialogue, but that is an entirely different matter. While Amane displays signs of introversion, his banter with his two friends and his interactions with Mahiru indicate to me that he's not socially awkward.
And I became very confident of this assessment in the last episode, because he said he got the events he wanted for sports day. And the event? Scavenger hunt. Maybe my viewpoint is skewed, but Amane just seems like a normal person to me. So thanks for nothing, whoever wrote that show description.
Guess it was an episode description.

I guess this just stood out a bit to me, because I've seen introverts on Reddit not liking it very much when introversion is conflated with social anxiety. And the social anxiety community has in turn accused them of gatekeeping introversion.
Guess it's a good thing we now have Bocchi the Rock to show everyone the difference between someone with social anxiety (Hitori) and a "pure" introvert (Ryō).
While I'm on the subject: RE:Life. I liked it. The story and characters were enjoyable. However, the premise is really dumb, and you have to either overlook it or be like me and simply enjoy picking it apart. And the main character is even more of a normal person than Amane, and thus a terrible representation of a hikikomori.

Going off the wiki page, he's called a NEET, so maybe he's not supposed to be a hikikomori. I don't recall the particulars for the show. At any rate, his problem was that he couldn't find employment. The RE:Life program says they'll only help him find a job if he successfully completes their program. Which means they could simply give him a job rather than go through the whole rigmarole. It reminds me of abstinence-first solutions for solving homelessness in the real world.
Recently, I've also read the first five or so volumes of Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible. While I do actually enjoy this series, unlike Komi Can't Communicate, and while Shiraishi does display social awkwardness (though not really much social anxiety, in my opinion), the whole "invisible" thing is just far too preposterous, and it's coupled too tightly with his social problems, which makes them seem like "fake" problems to me. Thus, I don't feel like I relate to him very much.

As far as being relatable for depictions of social anxiety, Watamote is still the best. Though I've been begrudgingly forced to admit Welcome to the NHK is probably just as good, if not better. I like Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, and there are relatable moments, but I believe this show is too cute and simply lacks the darkness necessary to be compared to the other two shows as far as being relatable.
As far as cuteness and that darkness, I think Bocchi the Rock strikes a good balance between the other Bocchi show and Watamote.
Though it ultimately still falls on the cuteness side.
