@Hakase weird. Even with internet issues, the glitch should happen only if the issue occurs at very specific times, mostly during cutscenes when she is out in the first place and even then would reset as soon as you open a menu (since closing that would still set her as hidden)
People abusing the glitch have to perform very specific things at specific times, and then play in a certain way so that the bug doesn't reset itself. Seems odd to have it on most of the time by chance.
@Memor-X there are many Squaresoft games that have party members follow you around outside combat just for immersion reasons, and in some cases you can even move a character other than the "story protagonist" if you wish.
That doesn't mean that when for example Tifa gets kidnapped you get to play HER fragment of the story.
You still follow Cloud attempt to save her and she is removed from the party during the event.
That is what I meant by "making Aerith protagonist instead of Cloud"
You would have to rewrite the game to have the story follow her.
So, for example when she leaves after the Black Materia thing, the game would follow her going alone to the temple and so on.
The other part of the joke was the date scene in Golden Saucer and you saying multiple time that you wished for Tifa&Aerith date.
