i tried as much IT as possible but got stuck with PE because class size for one was too small

also didn't get Japanese because had to put it down twice to represent 2 semesters, not that i was told

if you take up sciences as your majoring subject in hs, you basically have to have Physics, Chem and Maths. And you have a choice between PE or Arts and CS or Bio.

in years 11 and 12 we only had to keep Maths and English but we could choose what kind, like for Maths there was Core (normal), Math Sciences, Fundamentals (easier). for English there was normal English or Literature

I've never toyed around with custom firmwares but I've heard good and bad things from different people

the thing I dislike the most about what I've heard is that "sometimes things don't work or it just reboots, it's normal"

I want reliability and this scares me

I liked CyanogenMod but sadly they shut down all open and free stuff they had

I don't do anything advanced on phones in general, I just want them to call, have maps and basic browser, that's it

it's a whole world of features out there lost on me because I never use them

so I don't know what to look for in any of these custom firmwares

Well, I liked that I could prevent anything from accessing pretty much anything. In cm it was better. You could prevent an app from accessing your phone book and instead it got an empty one.

I'm looking at a bunch of phones to choose from these days, <150 usd in price and with 720x1280+ resolution, and the new small border design (these huge top and bottom spaces don't have a place in 2018)

And I liked most features on lineage as well, more options, less intrusive but it is too unstable

so far I've found Honor 7 but it looks kinda blocky for some reason, I don't like it

redmi 6a, which looks fine, but it has slightly thick border

I have a Moto z, don't know the current price but it has a comparatively huge frame

LG q6 but it's a bit more expensive

moto e5 plus but it's also a bit more pricey

I also don't like any of the designs of the more expensive models from other manufacturers

I get it, everyone uses a rubber case anyways, but still that's no reason to make the design so crappy

especially when you're paying a significant amount of money for it

not when it's the cheapest model

I mostly don't care about design. I care about the Android image. It should be as pure as possible and 1.5 years ago, Motorola had the purest ones

Mine often falls on tiles when I'm on the toilet. We don't have anything to put something down so I have to put it in the very thin heater, where it sometimes falls down

LaTeX is great. If it doesn't have to be pretty and you don't want to do like 20 reformat rounds in word, use LaTeX

well, I 've been using visual studios since 2005 and it got really good with the 2013 when the new cool design rolled out

2013 was the last one I liked. But then I also started using more java and node, so I switched to intellij and webstorm

as I've found out through my internet journeys, whenever people say they use one of those weird text editors as their IDE, they don't actually work as developers, but as scripters
