the model has lots of room for optimization, and I'm not suggesting its model be used, but that its design can be borrowed from instead of using other more lossy data protection techniques.
as a fun fact, all cell phones on a call plan already consumes channels for SMS, even if you don't pay for an SMS plan - so all SMS usages are realistically free. cell companies don't really have a reason to charge for it, other than that they want to
(it's why you can receive messages from your service provider even when you can't send any)
my maths teach once gave the whole class the task of counting from 1 to 100 in under 15 minutes and I gave the closest answer of about ~6000 by counting multiples of 1…5s
it's mostly coz almost everything they teach they don't give a real life application for, and no imaginable visualization or just SOMETHING to exemplify the usage of the formulas or approaches
when I was getting private lessons preparing to get into uni, and came to school with a 1-stop solution instead of the 3-step one which the teach was explaining there, she said she didn't teach that shit so sit the fuck down with your smart-ass university formula and don't meddle with her teaching process
I dropped out of high school pretty much immediately after the range of free education, so I didn't have to deal with our broken institution system that much
> In February 2015, SpaceX asked the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to consider future innovative uses of the Ka-band spectrum before the FCC commits to 5G communications regulations that would create barriers to entry, since SpaceX is a new entrant to the satellite communications market.
I worked online since 14, programming projects on software and mobile apps, didn't require a degree for me; freelancing is a viable alternative, the difference is that you have to convince a client they want to work with you, if you can't do that
I've read about people who plug in a remote control hardware thing with a 4g modem and a remote tech does everything with the computer, and the dude goes away to other customers to install/take back those same remote things while the remote tech does the slow shit from the HQ
maybe this is more of a corporate thing where you aren't that afraid that your remote thing will get stolen
when I was at high school, they wanted me to help them update their parent-teacher association event info, and the chairman would treat me to free lunch afterwards every time
I would get free meals just for around four lines of HTML
I got nothing tangible for a year of staying late every friday at school helping our newspaper typeset text blocks and print in higher quality than normal :I
I only remember about that whole experience maybe once every few years
I've played it all the way up until the end of high school and then in uni I did a normal-nightamare-hell run with my uni friend in the span of 5 months
I'm trying to play a lot of different games these last few years
that whole weight of the self-conscious thought that I'm wasting my time otherwise doesn't let me keep playing the same thing for too long
a few months ago I kinda relapsed into tf2 everyday for a few weeks but when my mind started getting invaded by the thoughts of buying strange weapons so that the noobs would be alerted of my pro skills… I snapped back to reality and deleted every item and then the game and steam with it
@Unihedron sorry if I'm totally gonna DEMOLISH your bubble but to me arts and crafts is a completely useless affair unlike the things you can enjoy for much longer like games with some content randomization and generation
I've thought about it for a bit and decided I wanna do games, and in the process explore a lot of different new games, take a deep look into the games I already know and like, learn about storytelling and character design, art styles and game mechanics
I mean you can find similar values in any other thing, but this is the area of expertise that I enjoy the most I guess
I bet there are people out there who can enjoy crating metal sheets at a steel foundry and explain all the intricacies of material resistances and mechanical durability in depth just as much
one thing tho I won't ever understand is theoretical maths which has no practical application by design
it's like the science of wasting time and overheating your brain simultaneously
I'm just kidding, it's totally like playing cs 1.6 all day every day :p
@Ave you can try sending emails to all the workplaces you can think of, anonymously, but with your age situation and your expertise level and monetary expectation so only those which are interested in that kind of work force would reply to you
I've heard some stories of non-official side jobbing that started in this manner
from my former colleagues who couldn't legally get a job at a young age
they were weird dudes tho, didn't have big aspirations in life but still they've gotten from the farthest cities to here which is already a huge success in the life of anyone from far russian cities
"weird" by my measurements
pretty standard guys I guess on average
one guy from my univ course said he wants to become a head of some IT department, doesn't matter where or in what industry
@Unihedron actually i would add it. Aniplex USA's page in the list (which needs to be removed now) was just a list of streaming providers of their works.
