@Quill It's very polarizing. If you're the kind of person who likes bad ends, then you might enjoy it; otherwise it's not great. Personally, I don't really care for it. The VN is better than the anime, but I still didn't really enjoy it much.

Why remove the picture in: anime.stackexchange.com/questions/26852/… Shouldn't it have just been put behind NSFW: spoiler tag, we're talking about this same idea in the current meta.

This definitely meets the criteria for:
" scarce clothing, which does not yet include partial nudity. Think of panty shots, skimpy clothing, naked bodys hidden by a cloud. Should be on topic, given that they are contained inside a >! (spoiler) area, and visibly warn the user of their content. This should both count for answers and questions alike. And were possible, especially in answers, avoided if possible."

I don't think theres any problem in your action there, it does break the question without the image but on the otherhand that was low-quality even for a picture id request, since they were asking for a recommendation. I'm asking mainly since this is an onging topic and I think it should be discussed.

I forgot who brought it up but I also would hate for someone to get in trouble due to an image stored in their cache on a workplace computer, tagging slightly NSFW pictures as spoilers can indeed hide them from people nearby but an image hidden like that would still be downloaded to the computer. Is spoiler tagging really the best solution?

It seems like changing it to a link would be more appropriate in borderline NSFW situations

That way you have a way to repudiate... If you clicked the link thats on you.

The way I see it, low quality questions are the norm across the board here. ID requests are not especially bad in that respect. Most of the in-universe questions and production questions are also quite bad these days.

The only reason people notice it more for ID requests is because there's more of them.

Meh I still say that the biggest problem with ID questions on this site is the people who complain about them nonstop and distract from whatever real problems we have.
