I don't know the first thing about wpf and from what I know it makes all fonts smooth and I absolutely hate smooth fonts

it's not that there aren't better tools for the job I'm trying to do, there probably are, but I don't know them and I'm pretty comfortable with vs now

I'd like smoother look with non-standard controls (css themed?) and sleek animations for my app ideally

I'm saying that maybe there's some other IDE that does what I have better (idk how actually) than vs, then it would make me want to use vs instead

I suspect wpf has what I want in the gui department, but if it's still complicated and not easy to use, and some other IDE has it better, I might switch to that once I'm done debugging everything in vs and only need design stuff

again, I don't know anything about wpf and certainly not everything about vs

these are just tools, whichever's best for the job will get my attention while I'm doing that specific job

I'm not some fanatic lol

I suppose I could just write a c# dll to use with some browser script

@Memor-X It's a very simple principle. A message will onebox only if the entire content of the message is a single link. If you do a reply, that is treated specially by the parser and is not counted as part of the content. Pings, however, are just treated as normal text.
