Last week they tried to trick the Fists into fighting the Z-Rex for them, but the Fists didn't believe them so they sent a scout. When they realized the scout had been killed, they all went for vengeance, trying to take the party with them.
The party managed to stay back, killed the Rex and the Fists (both weakened by each other), then made it to Ataaz Muuahahahaha, which I think ended up being their favorite location so far, where they met Artus and Dragonbait, who reminded our Monk that he wanted to see Mezro, so they took a detour together to get there and ran into an army of Ras Nsi's skeletons inhabiting the place.
They didn't actually cross the bridge, I think they just liked the imagery of the laughing monkeys and the smelly dinosaur so much that the location stuck.
