@DoctorWhom Can you compose a <400 char answer re:Breastfeeding? I do not want to bump it too often with trivial edits.

@LangLangC Where IS this tour page linked from? Can you post the link?
I'm not sure I'm even looking at the same thing as you guys.

Hi!
The tour is a generated page.
It can be overridden by a mod once more than 1 Q is eligible.
Currentlx we do not have even one suitable candidate.
But the two posts I linked to are the closest.

But where is the tour?
How do I get to it? There are generic questions there, are those what we're talking about?

Improving sleep is just a bit too long. Breastfeeding has one answer (that is not bad imho) that is too long.
Oh yeah. The unicorns. Pretty distracting.

What are the criteria?

Concrete URL is [tour](health.stackexchange.com/tour}, at the bottom of every page we have and in most Welcome msgs I post.
The criteria are pretty strict.
Essentially: no fancy formatting, less than 400 characters long. No Images etc.
The way AltLED phrased it would make the least disturbance.
As evidenced by Skeptics tour page I conclude that once a post is selected, the answers might be updated and still validly displayon Tour.
I pinged people left and right for more insight as well as on Health to come up with alternatives at home (HSE).
Toughest criterion: absolutely no blockquotes.
May be wrong, but once we've beaten the algo, we might still upgrade the whole thread to actually reflect site guidelines.

How did you find the ones that nearly met criteria?

You can copy the source of the query for Physics, compose a new query for HSE, then dabble with the parameters. First thing I did was to increase the char limit for Qs to 500. Sleep came up, alone.
Then I read old AltLED's meta post and wondered why it never got traction.

I'll look into it

Great.

The improving sleep question is not a question I would want to use as an example. The breastfeeding one maybe.

Just my thoughts. Sleep might be only a tad bit better than unicorns. If you can come up with a better Q altogether… ;)
