@flawr what you said about zip3...zip, that it was already suggested by @Laikoni - I didn't see that suggestion before. it indeed shortens it by 3 bytes.
But those were found to be reducible by Leo, and for some reason I didn't think of the actually easier way of just taking the length of the string back then.
