@BeastOfCaerbannog I'd appreciate if you can improve the formatting and grammar for this answer (and probably the question). I'm not forcing you to do it, take your time. Thanks :D

3:20 PM
@Someone I edited the answer. Please check and change whatever you think I shouldn't have changed.
Also, can you be a bit more clear about the "How do I fix this issue?" part? Fix what issue exactly? exit code 1?

@BeastOfCaerbannog Thanks. You're awesome :)
@BeastOfCaerbannog Yes, exit code (1)

@Someone edited it too.

I really appreciate your efforts. You're so good. You're just awesome :)

Also +1 for the nice Q&A!
@Someone Thank you very much! :D

@BeastOfCaerbannog Thanks :D
@BeastOfCaerbannog Thank YOU.

3:28 PM
@Someone BTW, elaborate a bit more on this part, because it's not so clear.
Specifically, why should one move the post-installation script?

So, that the post installation script stop throwing errors.

And how would one solve the errors if they are not shown to them?

When a post installation script throws errors, it blocks apt and some dpkg operations
@BeastOfCaerbannog Shown to them?
Hmm.. I'll edit to provide a detailed workaround, but tomorrow, as currently I am on a mobile.

I mean that the post-installation script throws some errors, the user sees them and tries to fix them. If the user moves the post-installation script, they won't see the errors, so they won't know what to fix.

@BeastOfCaerbannog Hmm... You're right. I should include more details. I know how to solve this completely. Lemme try to fix it. I hope so you'll help me.

3:35 PM
OK!

@BeastOfCaerbannog I added a table which shows more workarounds.

Success rate is not good. It's not based on actual facts.

@BeastOfCaerbannog I saw the answers given by me in past to came to that conclusion.
Removed it

Yeah, but that's an objective index and can be biased and misleading.

@BeastOfCaerbannog Added some more info.

3:42 PM
Hmmm... I think that now the answer is overly complicated
Too much stuff that can raise questions
And still you haven's answered the initial question: why move the post-installation script?

@BeastOfCaerbannog To fix the other commands!

Can't you fix the other commands without moving it?

It depends.
If the commands to fix are related to apt then you can't.
Let's say you have to download foo to fix the post installation script:
sudo apt install foo

Then this is what should be clarified. When one must move the script to fix an error.

Hmm... You know me and English are not friends. So, can you edit and clarify it? Moreover I am on a mobile where its really hard to edit.

3:49 PM
I would, if I knew what you mean exactly. If you can make an edit, I can then look at it.

Hmmm...
You can try googling the errors with the commands and fix the possible errors. If you're facing errors with apt and dpkg then you can remove the post installation script and safely replace it after you've fixed the commads. However, this may not always be the correct solution. You may want to ask a new question.
Something like above?
Did you understand?

Looks good

The above is the whole paragraph under "How to fix these errors"

Do you want me to add it?

I'd appreciate if you will. I dont want to force you though.
You're better than me.

3:58 PM
Should I replace the table and the commands below it?

Completely your choice
Do whatever you want.

Can you check?

Thanks! :D
It's an awesome edit.
However, I think so I should add a new column to the table and add a row called "Usage" to avoid confusions

Maybe. You can try that

Yes, I will but tomorrow.
I'm really tired.

4:06 PM
OK. Good night!

Good Night! Bye and Thanks a lot!
I'll also add a new FAQ, "How do I creat my own post installation files"
I just want to know, that after reading my answer, do you now know what's a post installation script? Or is it unclear?

It's clear.

OK.
I'm planning to close a few questions as duplicate towards this.

@Someone That can probably be a differnt question.
@Someone OK @Someone.
