@JoeW As I understand it sites aren't at risk of being shut down as long as there is active moderation. As a 2015 announcement put it: "If there's enough moderation for a public beta site to consistently remain free of spam, for flags to be cleared, and for our Code of Conduct to be upheld, your site will remain open." That policy was reiterated in the 2019 announcement.
And on the point of moderation I think we're doing pretty well. Our review queues are well-maintained even without moderators helping out. We have quite a few meta regulars and good meta participation (votes, comments, answers). While other sites had to switch to 3 close votes, we're still at 5 and doing fine. Admittedly, that's at beta rep levels, but it still means we have the participation.
Yea, though I guess we're in a better position where it's not needed. I don't know about many of those sites, but for example on ELU I think it's needed because there are so many low effort drop by questions (not meeting the site's higher standard) compared to the number of regulars. We don't get that many new users but I think relatively speaking more stick around here and our requirements are lower.

Some definitions appear to say that racial discrimination (treating someone differently by reason of their race) is only Racism if it is motivated by a belie...
