You'd think politics is where everyone would be dying to speak...
But it seems otherwise.
Have people been scared off or have they got nothing to say?

user4012Is it possible to artificially create navigable rivers? Was closed as off-topic with This question does not appear to be about governments, policies and political processes within the scope defined in the help center. @MoziburUllah Everyone's too busy commenting on Q&A site :) Those not too busy commenting are too busy deleting comments :)

@DVK-on-Ahch-To: sounds like churning :).
or grid-lock...

@MoziburUllah you dig a hole, you fill up a hole. Soviet Army keeping busy.

@DVK-on-Ahch-To: or you build bridges; I think I prefer that - at least bridges are going somewhere.
@DVK-on-Ahch-To: The Soviet Union vanished thirty years ago - some people are still fighting old fights...rather than getting a grip on the real issues of today.
It reminds me of a story that I read a few years ago when a Japanese soldier appeared on one of there sparsely inhabited islands; he'd been hiding in the forest thinking that the war was still raging...!

Digging holes and then filling them in seem to be a exercise in pointlessness; maybe its good form the arms though, if that is you're digging using shovels ;).
good for...

Apropos of nothing:All Quiet on the Western Front - is a novel by a German writer.
It was made into a film.
in 1979.

@MoziburUllah The whole point is to keep the privates in the Army busy.

@DVK-on-Ahch-To: march them up the hill, and then march them down again; that's useful in a real army, it strengthens their physical fitness and stamina; I'd question the utility in a educational facility.
Or in social media...

Just a little FYI @MoziburUllah, that "Charlie" fellow is literally a neo-Nazi; or something very close to that. Engaging in discussion is fruitless, at best.
You're not the first to try that...
